    Xbox one issue with dashboard


    My Xbox one will occasionally have a bug where the dashboard stays active after starting any app or game.

    For example if I boot up Netflix, the borders of all of the apps on the dashboard are still visible and if I try to control anything in Netflix it just moves

    which app is selected on the dashboard. This has happened around 5 times, but the only way to fix it is a hard reset.

    Any Suggestions?

    Xbox One Dashboard Slow & Laggy

    I went on vacation for 10 days and remember the Xbox One dashboard being fast and responsive with no issues prior to leaving. After returning, I've noticed the dashboard is slower and laggy, to the point where it's annoying. I've done a hard reset and also gave it a few days before typing this, still the same. Was there an update or something? Anyone else experiencing issues?

    I'm not in the preview program and on an Xbox One X.

    Issue With Dashboard

    For the past week it has been saying, "YOUR XBOX LIVE GOLD MEMBERSHIP IS EXPIRING" even when I've already renewed it. I'm not sure if it's a bug, or what, cause I've never encountered this problem before. Is there any way I could get this off?

    Sorry to hear about the issue. I see that you have tried a hard reset, but have you tried doing a full power cycle? Follow the steps below:

    • Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds, or until the unit is fully powered off.
    • Unplug the power supply from the back of the Xbox One console and let it sit for 5 minutes.
    • Plug the power back in and power on.
    If the error persists after trying the steps above, post back and let us know so we can help you get this issue sorted! Xbox one issue with dashboard :)

    I have power cycled my xbox twice and it fixes it but after awhile it returns to its corrupted state i will try a console reset.

    Go to settings>system>console info>reset console>reset and keep my games and apps.

    This won't delete any of your games, just make sure you select the correct option last.

    This has fix several dashboard issues for me. You will have to re download your account back onto your Xbox.

    Should only take about 5-10 minutes.
