    I would like to detail to everyone the extremely disappointing way in which I was treated by the "customer support" team at MS today. My XBOX (bought on day 1 release Nov last year) stopped working - the disk drive would not read games / dvd's / bluray's.
    Apparently a common issue these days. I researched on the net last night and found a possible solution, which included flushing the ram / holding the button down for 10 second's / turning xbox off at the sources. No dice. today I rang MS twice. This morning,
    I got an answer telling me that I could get an "RA" number to take to EBGAMES where I would get a replacement XBOX ONE there and then. I was at work so unfortunately I had to call back when back at home to go through trouble shooting. This evening I spoke
    to an arrogant lady who told me that the previous customer service person was incorrect and that this was not possible. What was possible was that after the trouble shooting issue was worked through (and failed) I would have to send back the xbox one back
    to them for them to fix / replace. I was told this could take several weeks. To which I replied, I may as well just get a full refund if it takes that long. No apologies. My issues are these, with a company swimming in cash, that can't teach it's customer
    service employees as to a default answer for an issue, that is absolutely pathetic. Considering I bought and supported the company from day one. Not only this but she had the guff to tell me that my xbox was not "registered", on their system - something I
    did on day one / together with xbox live. The only saving grace in all this, is that when I spoke to EBGAMES and contacted them they were very sympathetic and said they would replace the faulty xbox one with a brand new one. They were also quite displeased
    with what occurred in regards to my conversations.

    To say I am disappointed in regards to this issue is to put it mildly.

    1-They didn't tell you this 'in person', they told you this over the phone.
