all 4 of my original xboxes worked great, i rarely ever had a problem with them. my xbox 360s (if you didnt have the mechanical errors) was great, very little problems with chat or gameplay.....compared to the xbox one. i have had more problems with my advanced
warfare edition xbox one then i have with every other xbox system or product EVER....by a very very long shot. how the hell after a year of being operation can you still not send voice messages? ever week or so i spend atleast a full day of not being able
to see my friends list or join any party or game chats....lol maybe apple should come out with a gaming console that blows everything else out of the water so that microsoft will start to care enough to actually fix their overpriced broken product.

    :)

  2. Will XBOX one controller work with xp or vista?

i have a question xbox community, i have a defective pc controller and i intend to buy an xbox one controller but i don't want to only use it for windows 10, is there a way to use xbox one controllers with windows vista or xp?

out of curiosity, i was thinking maybe install the xbox 360 drivers on windows xp and vista and install the xbox one drivers for windows 10, would this method work for an xbox one controller for all 3 operating systems?

if not, are there any alternatives to make it work with the operating systems?

  3. Microsoft Confirms Windows 10 To Launch Worldwide This Summer

Can't see how Windows 10 will have any impact on the console with regards to running games. Xbox One games don't run in Windows, they run from the console's other operating system - the console has three operating systems, only one of which is Windows based.
In any case it would only be the Windows 10 Kernal that console will get. Not the full PC OS.

    Windows Media Center

    Hey there G01denboy,

Yes, in order to use Windows Media Center you need a computer running WIndows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 and have Media Center installed. Without a computer with a supported operating system you would not be able to use Media Center on the console.

Will we See the Death of Microsoft in Our Lifetime?

If anything we would just see Xbox ended and then MS would release another operating system to fix the disaster that is Windows 8 and everything will be normal again, the follow this trend often. XP was good, Vista was horrid, 7 was good, 8 was horrid.

Better than Vista though. Much less of a resource hog.

I love windows 7, i have never had an issue with it

[/quote]I do not fault either operating system for performance under the hood. However the reasons I dislike Vista and Windows 7 are exactly the same.

Because I could rant on a bit I will pick but one reason. The removal of the Files Types tab.

Now when you Right Click on a file you get two options at the top, Open and Edit. Now in XP by using the Files Types tab you could set which program opens when picking the Edit option, now in Vista and Windows 7 that is something you can't do.

In those two operating systems you are only able to change what program is used when picking Open off the Right Click menu (which is the same as used when double clicking with the left mouse button.)

When double clicking a file I want Windows Photo Viewer to open. When picking Edit off the Right Click menu, I want Photoshop Elements. Now in Vista and Windows 7 I have to get a third party program to enable me to do that simple task.
