Xbox One is telling me I have no Xbox Live Gold membership when I do

2 days ago now I was in a party playing Warframe with some friends, when my party chat disconnected itself. As usual I dropped out and tried to re-invite everyone. But when I dropped out and snapped the party, it said "you need gold for this" now when I
go to subscriptions it says I don't have one, when I had one beforehand. and when I tried to activate a trial it says i'm already a gold member... and when I had my brother download my profile to his Xbox it worked fine. I've tried all of the troubleshooting
suggestions (power cycle, deleting/ redownloading etc) but no dice. anyone got a fix for this that worked for them short of calling customer service to have them tell me to do everything I've already tried? Any help would be appreciated.

Signed up for gold but xbox not recognizing it

Hi all.

I just signed up for xbox live gold membership after sometime without being a member.

This site is telling me that I do indeed have gold membership, however my xbox is not

recognizing the membership and is still telling me that I have free membership.

Is there a delay between the time when I sign up on the site and get it recognized on my xbox

or is this another issue altogether?

Before calling service you may want to try to reset the system cache of not done yet.

To do this please hold the powerbutton for about 15 seconds and keep it holding even when the one turns off after some seconds. Wait for the power supply to change the color to orange and then restart the console.

As everything is fine on your brother's console it looks more like a console then a profile problem to me. So if cache resetting the system cache does not fix it, it may also be an option to reset your console to factory settings.
