Xbox One is still missing....

Hi! Guys, let's discuss a little bit about this:

1. Years passed and there is still no support for certain languages. After the fall update the Store in the Xbox One is messed up, using now two languages and is sometimes hardly to understand. The Store is using the "country" language, but the console language
is other due missing languages in some countries. Example: Slovakia / English or Czech Republic / English....Hungary / English. If I am right the Store in the Windows 10 and the Store in the consoles is the same service (only using different filters for the
content).

Polish language is always supported because 1/3 of the european population is polish (37+Milions). German, English, French...ok. But how can you forget 10M people speaking or understand hungarian (hungary + 1/3 of the Slovak population!) or 16M people speaking
or understanding czech (Czech Republic + Slovakia)? These markets doesn't count? Windows 10 on Xbox One and PC are not the same? Not the same language files-translations?



2. The Xbox One has the network testing tools but missing SMART reporting, tool for testing the internal or external drives for bad sectors. Is it so hard to add this to the Xbox One settings menu? Consoles are complex - there should be a SELF TESTING menu
(FAN test at various rpm, advanced network tests, gpu test, HDD error test..).

3. xbox one remote battery status - missing a setting to select between graphical icon or percentage %

Just hooked up my 360 and the years are still intact. My tenure is only missing on Xbox One

 

I would like to add up Greek language on this. The Store is messed up when using this language too! And it gets on my nerves that the Xbox App and the Xbox Website are fully localised for Slovakian, Czech, Hungarian and Greek. So the translations have already
been made!!!! They just refuse to integrate these languages into the system. This makes no sense from a consumer point of view. Even the error messages are localized in Czech, Slovak, Hungarian and Greek when playing on Windows 10. So much effort on translating
stuff and still none of them on console.

 

To change the language setting on the Xbox One -

Go to Settings > System > Language and Location > Language > there are 20 languages to choose from there

The Store on the Xbox is not the same as the Store in Windows 10. They are separate platforms.

- Exactly how large is the Xbox market in Hungary or Czech Republic and Slovakia. I'm not looking for an answer here I'm just saying that it is what it is. The Xbox market might not be that big there or most likely, not too many people are posting about
that as an actual issue.

- The console is just that a gaming console. None of the features you're asking for provide a value to most end users

Please explain where exactly to find Greek, Czech and Hungarian in console.

So "Greek" and "Hungarian" is a supported country. Good to know!

 

Ok, here's the response:

1: I agree, they should have more languages.

2: Why? if they did have some sort of hard drive testing app and it reported some bad sectors on the hard drive, what can you do about it? I agree that if an external hard drive has bad sectors you could replace it, but what about the internal one? you
cant replace that.

3: What's wrong with just having a percentage?

 

If you can get enough people to vote on your request at that site, that's hopefully going to get the attention needed to meet your request.

 

Once again, Hebrew didn't even have a UserVoice post and it got added. So obviously, no one cares about language votes on usevoice, they add languages based on luck or whatever. Once again, Czech language has 1100 votes on uservoice and Greek has 200, they
are already there, with more votes than Hebrew had, 1100>200>0.

 

And that's where you'll need to work to get your point noted or noticed.

Ok! I was not talking about platforms. This is about the languages in W10 and using the dictionary for Xbox One.

This is not about markets. Windows OS, Office market is small too in our countries compared to USA We are costumers and we need it. Simple. Microsoft has the resources (and data, code) to do what we need. Again, the Store on Xbox One is partly in our
languages, is messed UP! Xbox One is another platform, but using W10

Hahaha! How much we pay for Xbox One? We should have at least the possibility to check the internal harddrive status! There is a network test, who needs this? 75% of the children don't know what is latency. It is showing you Network OK, ALL SERVICES Online,
bla bla.... but the streaming to Win10 PC is not working correctly. So I miss a proper solution "Console HW Status" - The device is working properly....or The device is detecting problems with the internal harddrive, please contact your seller or service.
