Xbox One is slow

Hello

A few days ago I contacted the support befcause of an xBox Live problem. They told me to hold the xBox Button for 10 seconds. I did this (while console was turned on, I understood to do like this) and after that everything is extreme slow: loading screens
are long, fps are low. It took 3 times to open Black Ops 3. And so on.

Could anyone help me please? I cant play with this anymore.

slow updates

A main factor in the speed along with slower internet speeds is the size of the update.

Is this only on Black Ops 3 or on all games?

 

My sion is having the same issue with Black Ops 3 and NBA 2K16 so I tried troubleshooting. We noticed packet loss is up tp 40% and I can't seem to fix that. He says it's been running slow for the past week or so. Does anyone know if the new dashboard has
impacted the speed or how I can reduce my packet loss? I've tried everything.

 

What kind of modem/router are you using? Many times these types of issues are network related. Provide as much information about your network/configuration as you can.

 

I just tried this (I was experiencing major lag on Fallout 4) and it worked for me. The problem (it seems) was the system cache.

Unfortunately, the Xbox One doesn't have an in-built cache menu, therefore you will have to clear it manually. To do this:

1. Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely
   
2. Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick is not connected
   
3. Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure any remaining battery is drained, clearing the cache
   
4. Plug the power cable back into the console and wait for the light on it to change from white to orange
   
5. Turn on the console using the power button
