Xbox One is sadly disappointing.

Does innovation in gaming include making it more and more of a policy/practice to release things that are not ready or working properly, and have a bunch of people in the community accept that so readily? Seems like more and more for games, game systems,
etc. I constantly hear defenses of "it has only been out [time frame here]" when the idea of release was supposed to be "it's ready. We tested it, it works." Now it just seems to be "buy it now, and we'll fix it later." And then they want people to preorder
these things to pay full price for the product at its worst?

I guess I just don't understand the rationale behind it.

Xbox 360 has been out for ages, plenty of time to work out the bugs it had at the start. Xbox One is a different system, attempting to deal with different problems and as mentioned has only been out 4 months. At least the hardware is not failing as much
as 360 was at launch.

Also to the person who said they can't see real difference between 360 and xb1 battlefield 4.......you crazy

It's pretty well known that Microsoft ignore this forum. So it's easy for them to ignore customers with complaints.

What people with issues need to start doing is sending physical mail. A thousand forum threads are easy to ignore. A thousand letters hitting an in-tray are much harder to ignore.

I do not have an xbox one yet... my neighbour does and that is enough of the experience for me. I've played power star golf and while it is enjoyable, there are lots of issues with it. From game play and glitches to the controller constantly saying 'controller
disconnected'. Yet the batteries are fine and when the xbox button is pressed it does bring up the menu and the controller can navigate all the menus.. Seems to be with that game?

BF4 was alright, graphics were not 'omg wow!' and it reminded me very much of the 360.

Now his titanfall has not yet been able to connect and I will drop by later on in the week to see if it's working. TF I think will be a quick PR boost, sell some consoles and quickly fade. I do not think it will be the epic game of the year that some media
sites are trying to portray it as. Look at the Halo series... it had awesome graphics with each generation console it was on, it had awesome single player mode and captivated fans across all generations and it had great multiplayer. TF has 6 vs 6 multiplayer
and 12 or 15 maps... sorry, this will wear thin fast.

Then we look at all the features in general that xbox one is lacking compared to xbox 360. Media extender, games with gold, social media apps, movies on external usb etc. etc. Yes I am sure these will eventually come to the xbox one, but now it is 4 months
after release and still lacking. Sorry, but for a $500.00 'next gen' console, there is SOOO much more work that needs to be done.
