    XBOX one is powering ON after being shutdown -- why?


    I have an XBOX One console. I press the power button on the CONSOLE to shut it down after use. The lights flash and then it turns off. A random time later the XBOX powers itself on with no prompting. I cannot figure out why. Can any one advise me on how
    to remedy this issue?

    XBOX one is powering ON after being shutdown -- why?

    That might be caused by many factors, like random wifi signals or contact by objects around the console. I suggest you to unplug your console when you are done.

    All discs not working on Xbox One

    I've had recent issues with noise and disc drive not being recognised on my Xbox Series X and the only way I found to stop this issue is to do a Full shutdown of the console and restart.

    Settings>System>General>Power...>Full shutdown.

    Its worthwhile removing power cable from console for a few minutes after you shutdown before you restart.

    Also, eject the disc before you shutdown.

    I've had recent issues with noise and disc drive not being recognised on my Xbox Series X and the only way I found to stop this issue is to do a Full shutdown of the console and restart.

    Doesn't do anything...

    A Hard boot and Shutdown of the Xbox One can take a while, This explains the slow boot and shutdown.

    In regards to the sluggishness etc. Could this be caused by your monitor not being powerful enough for your X-Box One Console? I have had issues with my old monitor in the past when trying to use an old/less powerful monitor with a newer/more powerful Desktop
    PC, This could be a similar issue?

    Maybe try your Xbox on another TV and see if the issue is the same?

    My disk hard drive is noisy in abnormal way when I install a game disk at Xbox series x, sth like vibrating noises. Is it normal ? Or I need to give it to Microsoft partners for fix?

    Putting console on the floor is not a good idea, especially if the floor is carpeted (static electicity).
