    Xbox One is not sending signal to TV


    Each time I turn on my "original" Xbox One, it turns on as normal, but I receive no signal on my TV. I have checked that my HDMI cable is plugged into the "out to TV" port and have attempted multiple HDMI cords and multiple TVs. In addition to this, I have attempted to boot in low resolution mode, but when I do this, my xbox just makes the eject noise a few times in rapid succession and then turns on as normal. Same story when I tried to boot into the factory reset menu. Is there anything left I can do? I have double and triple checked to make sure I am doing the factory reset boot and low res boot correctly, but they still do not appear to work.

    Update: Sometimes when turned on, I do not get the classic "no signal" screen, but instead the screen is just completely black, as if the TV is getting some signal, but its just black.

    Xbox One won't connect to tv

    Don't confuse what the xbox one will send to signal to vs. what the TV is set to receive.

    This is a TV issue based on what signals the TV can receive and how.

    Can you share the make and model of your television? Generally the TV sends a digital signal back to the Xbox One to notify it's connected and I'm wondering if perhaps the TV isn't sending that signal despite displaying fine.

    Xbox One will not with smaller TVs (32inch and 24inch), but works with big samsung (50 inch)

    Hi, the samsung TV is model P2770HD.

    The xbox sends a signal and powers the tv on and off, but no video signal.

    The xbox is working and the ports on the tv are working (i tried direct tv devices and all the porta are working fine.

    The HDMI cable also worked with xbox ONEand another, new TV (samsung smart tv).

    It is an Xbox One.

    My X was recently doing this. Followed all the self help steps but it ended up being mu HDMI port and chip. Had to get it repaired :(
