Xbox one is garbage! DON'T BUY THIS SYSTEM!

The Xbox one system and all of the accessories is made so cheaply. Let me start with the basics, I have had a Xbox one since the day it came out (November 22, 2013) and ever since I received the system it has made a god awful "coil whine" noise, and I am
not the only one that has this issue, but it seems MS doesn't even want to acknowledge it. Then, after about 5 months of use, my day one controller goes out completely, as in doesn't turn on. Went out to get another one and spend my hard earned cash so I have
a controller to play with while the day one controller is out for repair. All the new controllers I got were defective, panels falling off, buttons not working ect. I then went through about close to 20 different controllers from two different outlets. After
a bunch of defective controllers I finally got one that I thought was fine and well built, well a week after use, the side panels started falling off to the point where I needed to use tape on the sides of the controller to keep the panels from falling off
completely. Then XMAS eve, my "repaired" controller comes back from MS. I opened the package and to my surprise....the controller is complete crap, the bumper doesn't work completely, the back panels are falling off like my current one, and the controller
creaks when you hold it. I called up support and the lady I spoke to was very nice and replaced the controller without having to send in the broken one I received, I am currently waiting for the new controller which should be here Tuesday. I will film me opening
the package as proof that the controllers they replace are crap also. So all in all, I have a loud Xbox One console, a buzzing power supply,twenty-two broken controllers and no acknowledgement from MS. On top of that during my whole ordeal with all the issues
I have had with my console and accessories, I have been lied to blatantly by support about two dozen times or more. I am beyond done with this company and console, and when this piece of garbage decides to die, I will be selling the games and everything else
I have and buying a PS4, as I have heard of nothing wrong going on with their products and when something is wrong, at least they acknowledge the problem instead of deleting every forum post that brings problems to their attention. Guess out of sight out of
mind right?

Neither the PS4 or Xbox One console is garbage so tired of you people that hate on consoles, if you don't like them then don't buy them.

 

Server idea going backward

lol. BF3 sucks, why pay extra for your own server of suck. no one should bother playing the garbage that BF3 is. Don't rent servers, don't buy the DLC and don't buy any thing from DICE again.

 

Hey there, Krazy! I am sincerely sorry to see that you are running into so many issues with your console and controllers. This is definitely not an experience we want our users to have.

We had addressed the "coil whine" noise, as you describe, in an update earlier this year. If your console is still having this noise issue, we highly suggest getting a repair set up through our
Online Repair Center. The best way to get that resolved is by getting a repair or Advanced Exchange set up for it.

If the replacement controller you get on Tuesday is also defective, do not hesitate to post up the video of you unwrapping it. We want to make sure you get a fully functional device, and I am highly interested in this situation.

Hopefully we've got you covered! If we don't, please post back here so that we can look into it further.

 

I am planning on sending the console off in February before the warranty goes out for it. I will post the video tomorrow of the new controller so you guys can see the issues (if there are any) with the replacement, keep in mind this will be the 23rd controller
I have gotten and second replacement controller.

 

Too bad you may have to pay an expedite fee for something that isnt your fault. The compensation for poor quality is a one month free Xbox Live pass, what a slap in the face. Why not make it a year of free service? Poor Customer Service by Xbox! To post
complaints, even that is regulated, you have to use forums, a cheap chat room that is below average, and calling to India or something.....REALLY XBOX? I think social media will be a good avenue to get your attention!

 

Its more or less just the quality of their products are horrible. The console I own makes a coil whine issue, which if you have basic knowledge in tech you know its easily prevented, but MS wanted to rush like they did with the Xbox 360. You think they would
had learned their lesson with the whole RROD situation. Its a shame really, because I have had my Xbox 360 console since December of 2008 with no issues at all! I have had my controller since October of 2009 and it still works perfectly. My question is, if
you make a third edition of something, shouldn't it be better and not a complete step backwards? All they have given me for my troubles so far is 5 months of Xbox live for my troubles, that doesn't cover the gas I wasted running back and forth to the store
a few dozen times to exchange their poorly made product. The main issue I seem to see on message boards on the internet is two things. Thumb stick wobble, which most of the controllers I had were effected, where the thumb stick cap isn't anchored to the controller
correctly, at this point its just a roll of the die and hope you get one that isn't defective, which is rare because everyone is complaining about it. Then there is another defective with the panels on the controller, they aren't held to the controller with
nothing more the claws and holes for the claws to attach to, don't get me wrong I like the screw-less design but overall there needs to be something better holding the panels to the controller.

 

I agree, the customer service and products are horrible.

 

I'm on 3 shipments console, power supply, controller. Not once did I got a fully functional device. Console makes a strange noise, the power supply is booming all over the room, the controller does not want to connect to the console. Microsoft can not fix
it. Microsoft is a service at the same level as the sony. I wonder how many more times do I have to send.

 

Wow so it seems I am not the only one having issues with everything I own for the Xbox One? Its funny because all my Xbox 360 items still work very good. But the controller I bought from walmart is like 2 weeks old and is falling apart

 

So I do have an update on the situation, I didn't receive the package today as expected. The package should arrive tomorrow evening and I will post a video of the unboxing here when I can

 

So I got my SECOND Xbox one controller from Microsoft. And this one has the same thumb stick issue! How hard is it to make a quality product!!! I am done with MS and done with their poorly made product, as per the support person's request in my forum post,

Hey there, Krazy! I went ahead and merged everything for you so that we've got it all nice and neat.

I very much appreciate you posting this video for our review. I checked it out, and everything looks like normal on the controller. The "play" that you see on your controller is there so that users are able to rest their thumbs on the right thumbstick, which
is the most used button, without having any input go through to the console. The Xbox 360 controllers also have this little bit of play. As long as your controller is playing normal in your games, then it is working as normal.
