    i have had the Xbox one since day one. I believe this is number 7 for me. I could call bestbuy they would know for sure. Xbox states that it supports 1080p and can handle it but has anyone else had problems with watching tv through there Xbox? Freezing all
    the time then they ask well did you turn it to 720 and then 480. Yes I have not only on just 1 but all 7 of them did the same freezing up issues and the one I have now did to. i just gave up on trying to use this feature one of the man reasons why I got the
    Xbox one. The second reason was for forza. I wish forza would just go to Sony ps4 and I could use this Xbox as a door stop. Not only that but i bought a controller and have used it less than a handful of times. Went to use it and was instructed to do a controller
    update. So I did so and my system froze up. And I had to do a full reboot. As everyone knows how to do that since this isn't uncommon and my controller after that has become broken and will not even power on now. I contacted Xbox support with chat since it
    was very late as in 1 or 2 A.m. And my family was sleeping after talking with them on chat a agent decides to call be about the problem and I answered my phone as fast as I could trying to get it before it woke the house up. Which woke my wife a 1 of my kids
    up. I told him that it was in the a.m. As like 1 or 2 am in the morning and asked why he called me and he stated that he could call back at a better time after already waking my family up.mimsaid since u have done that I will just take care of it now. He stated
    to me that they knew about the problem with the controllers and that they would have to have it sent in and they would send me a new one. I told him that. Ipad only used it less than a handful of times and it was fine until I tried to update it. But was told
    that they would send me a return label for me to send it back in. So I have been waiting for it now is the 19th day I have been. Waiting so I contacted Xbox support again which all know is a stupid wait as it is. And the girl that answered was very rude and
    not very helpful and. I asked to speak with a lead and or supervisier which I was informed they. Have all. The same options and there was nothing they could do. After asking to. Speak with one over 6 times. I stated that I was going to start to record my
    call of me asking for her supervisier or lead and she replied that she would then hang up if I started to record the call. I live in the U.S. and if I want to record my phone calls thats my right. Just as it is the companies right to record the phone calls
    when I call in. So if I'm not allowed to record my calls then why are they allowed to record there calls. Second I while finally getting her to get a superviser I asked for the corporate phone number and address she stated that they don't have that info.
    Which my wife and I have both been a customer service agent for many different companies and know that they have that info just choose not to give it out. I stated that I have waited long enough for the to send me a label to return my controller and that they
    are the ones that didn't follow thru with there obligations and that I shouldn't have to wait for my new controller to be sent until I send mone in and then have to wait for them to send the new one which they said takes around 14 days. the superviser Matthew
    said he would comp me 2 free months of Xbox live. Lol 2 months For my trouble. For one how is that a comp when that cost them nothing to do. I said I have a warrenty on my controller with best buy which I could take it back right now and get a new one. But
    I would lose my warrenty and have to pay for a new one. Which i said I could send them the bill for since they didn't follow thru with what they said they was going to do. And Xbox already knowing there was a problem with these controller and they didn't recall
    them because it would of cost them money and are waiting for either the controller to get out of factory warrenty and or the customer to just think they broke there controller and just go out and buy a new one. What kind of company would do that to there
    customers. Offer my 2 months of Xbox live which I already have 2 years of and seems like everytime I turn around there is so type of problem with the servers and or Xbox live. Just like right now. Xbox live is having problems and can not connect or talk to
    my friends. Thinking it was something on my end and went a reset all my routers and modems. Why can't xbox just get with the program and take care of there customers. I have been with Xbox since the very first Xbox and if it wasn't for forza I wouldn't be
    with Xbox no longer. Its a shame I have to say that. I have had the same ps4 since day one and haven't had one problem with it what so ever. And playstations rewards us just like Xbox does with games each month but playstation gives us a lot better game actual
    games not indie crap games. What's with the poor service from Xbox. Makes Microsoft look very bad.

    I'm very sorry to hear that you've been experiencing issues with your console, controller, and with support.

    What cable provider are you using? And have you set up your cable box on your Xbox?

    What is the issue with Forza? You mention it, however you don't specifically say what the issue is.

    Have you attempted another controller update to see if this will resolve your issue?

    As to the issues with the controller, they discovered a lot of issues with it after it was initially released. However, these issued were only discovered due to the mass of people using them, because some bugs will inevitably make it through the quality
    assurance process before release.

    As to recording the phone call. It is true that in some states you would be allowed to record your phone conversation, but not in all states. The laws become even trickier when you are in a different state than the other individual. The support line states
    that the call may be recorded for quality assurance purposes and that is put there so that if you have an issue with the call being recorded you can choose to end the call. This is with the assumption that you are agreeing to be recorded by not hanging up.
    However, when they told you they would hang up if you began recording this is because they have the same option to hang up if they do not want to be recorded.

    I cannot explain why the label would take so long to get to you, or why they run things the way they do. Only they can answer that, as I am not an employee of Microsoft or Xbox.

    Xbox does occasionally have issues with their service, however it is a very large network that is run worldwide with millions of people connecting to each other at any one time. There is bound to be connection issues, and although it is frustrating and bothersome,
    it is the reality of using a service such as this.

    Again, I am very sorry that you have had issues with all of these problems. I will do my best to further help you with the issues that I asked questions about. I hope you have better experiences in the future when contacting Xbox Support!

    I have to be honest, this sounds like a lot of misinformation and misunderstanding. First off the exchange program for accessories for any of the Xboxs has always been a self ship option. You have to send it in first, on your own dime, it has to pass warranty
    inspection, and then they send you back a new one. As for your streaming capabilities I would like to know what kind of service you get. Is it cable, satellite, etc. And what about your networking equipment? What kind of router/modem/gateway and with what
    kind of service? You can't expect to take an advanced console like the X1 and then expect it to work with spotty equipment and a bad TV/internet connection. You're leaving out a lot of details here and it's really unjust to point the finger at Xbox because
    of your own failings. Present all the information and I'll be happy to see what we can do to help.

  9. I have been pretty *** off with xbox and I am still there. if it's not one thing it's another. So I have finally came back on here and will answer some of these. sorry it has taken me a min. as for the controller issue with the shipping. I have the email
    that even stated where to send in or fax the receipt for the mailing of the controller back. I was informed that it had to be from fedex and had to be in a certain box and everything. was stupid. I had a warranty at best buy all i had to do was take it back
    to them and swap it out but no xbox said we need it so we can figure out whats going on and that they knew of the problems with these controllers and that they was dealing with them 1 at a time when the problem happens. instead of doing what they should have
    done and recalled the faulty units. not just 1 controller but 3 of mine did it. 2 was brand new out of the box. second i used for awhile and i had to do update on it and then bam stopped working. the console i have no more as i am on my 4th forza 6 console
    and this one they wanted me to send back and i said no way in hell am i going thru that again. but they finally had an update that dealt with the issue. and I had to do a total reboot yet again on it tried to do it with them on the phone and it would do it
    and even tried doing to from usb thing wouldn't do it I finally got it working i forget the steps i took but I had to figure it out once again. I solved an issue that a person gets paid to help me fix but yet again 2 for me 0 for xbox. same thing with the
    controllers after the 1st issue and having to send my controller in the 2 new ones I just bought which was older controllers but i got them new from walmart i think they was cleaning the warehouse out and had found them but i got them home did the update and
    they did the same dang thing like it was bricked i called xbox and we tried all kinds of crap and they wanted me to send them in I said i am not going thru that again. so I actually ended up while on the phone with them fixing them and then they wanted me
    to tell them and I did i told them how to fix it saving there company a lot of money and they gave me a code for a free avatar t-shirt what a kick in the balls.

    as for what i was using when the problem with the streaming was cable time warner. I was running between 50 to 65 mbps i currently am not having that issue with my new xbox as I had to trade the older ones in because of all the issues i was having with them.
