my Xbox one, which has been working fine since I first got it. Just today has been very annoying. It will connect to the Internet, yes it downloads updates, but when I try to play games like GTA V online, it will say I must connect to XBL. Another problem
is that when I try to sync my data for Halo MCC, it will crash. I have no idea what is happening. One small glitch I have too is that I have no gamer picture, and it takes longer than often to load. I haven't been able to find a solution and hope to be able
to fix this problem. I can upload photos if it will help at all.

    :)

My profile can connect to Xbox live but i can't play online.

Hello to anyone who sees this.

My profile says that it is connected to xbox (360) live, but as soon as I want to play call of duty. I will try and go online but it automatically says I'm not connected to xbox live. This is very frustrating cause I can restart the xbox, put different games
in and try my internet connection but the same thing still happens. I was playing online with xbox live the other day and as soon as I created a profile for my friend to play local with me it won't allow me to go back online.

    Please help

Have you tried power cycling your console? If not, give that a try. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

  5. Sadly,it didn't work. I tried moving games to my internal hard drive. Master Chief Collection still crashed. I'm wondering if the console may have to be factory reset or even maybe replaced.

When power cycling the console, can you make sure to unplug it from the wall for about a minute once it's off?

Let us know how you get on. If that doesn't work we'll try something else.

  7. I tried it, nothing changed. Still had the picture glitch and can't play games online and MCC crashes when syncing data.

Xbox one is connected to Xbox Live but won't play games online

Hm, so all the issues you were describing were related to being connected to Live, which yesterday (and briefly on the 24th) was having issues. Those should have been cleared up now, so could you try again and see if your console is working as normal?

Power cycle once more now things should have been restored and let us know.

    News about the New Xbox.

the majority of people are always online anyway when connected to Xbox Live ... as long as it doesn't mean you need an online connection to play then i don't see any difference between now and then. BUT ... if i have to connect to Xbox Live to even play
a game, then I won't be a happy camper. and i'm sure a lot of others won't be either.

Xbox 360 Slim Won't Connect to Internet or Live?

No, it boots up fine, it's just that it won't connect to Xbox Live. I am unable to play online, but I can play singleplayer games.

    Which One do i Get

PS4 Free to Play multiplayer games won't charge the users so they can play online for free, Xbox One won't offer the same.

    -

DVR'ing games will be free on PS4, on Xbox One you'll need Xbox LIVE Gold.

Non lan friends cannot join any of my minecraft worlds

One option would be to ask in the Minecraft forum at: https://www.minecraftforum.net

Also, have you checked in the settings that Xbox Live and Online play is active? Without these, the Xbox Live connection won't work.
