    Hi, I have a certain question. If I'm interested in a Russian localized version of the game (the Xbox, not related to this account, is set up with an account that has its locale as Russia but the IP address and actual physical location isn't there), I've
    come to learn that due to the IP address being foreign to the written locale (Russia), that purchasing the game digitally fails. It's not particularly problematic to set up something to get a Russian local IP address that will allow the purchase, but the real
    question is whether that localized IP will be needed for general single player or multiplayer within the game or if once the game is purchased, that downloading/installing/playing it can be done on the "foreign" IP.

    Has anybody had an experience that could shed some light on the situation?

    Just to summarize. The answer is no, it does not play movies of any region. The Xbox One is region locked so it'll only play movies for the region it was purchased from.

    Hi antoniomyers69!

    You should be able to purchase a digital copy of the season pass for your BO3 game disc as long as your payment instrument is allowed to purchase outside your region through the xbox store. Xbox one console does not have any region locks for games(may it
    be disc or digital game).

    Though there is a lock for purchases. The system might allow you to be able to purchase a game using a payment instrument that does not match the region where you bought it. But after 24 hours, the system will detect it that its out of region and you will
    get an error if you try to attempt to purchase again. So basically, buying games that are not for your region have consequences. I best recommend buying gift cards instead.

    One gifting is only allowed in the same region you had this warning when gifting as the codes would be region specific to your account

    2 cod dlc is region locked

    Youd litterally would have to find an etailer for his region and make a purchase on your own and send it to him

    FYI Xbox one digital games are region locked

    So most likely any triple a titles like halo and titanfal to cod is going to be region locked

    It is only disc editions that are region free

    only if it is the purchasing console

    if not then only the account that purchased it can use it and must remain signed in on live

    only a drm transfer can change it to allow it to access it online however if it is region locked the drm transfer tool does not work with region locked content OUT of region

    First some original Xbox games were region locked by country not by continent

    First region lock errors only show when purchasing. It redownloading

    Region locks can however prevent downloads outside the original region by canceling anytime

    Does your account region (country ) match your actual country?

    And blackops 2 is region and language locked

    Downloading a different language will incur the language .lock if.he tries.and get the.dlc

    Black ops 1-2 has a language lock if they use the wrong language disk or game.and download the region locked dlc the dlc is.locked with language of.the region downloading.a different region dlc will cause the language mismatch error (frpm.the 360 days )

    It's.the only language locked game

    Xbox games weren't language independent till xbox one games but.doesn't apply retroactively

    And most bc titles are region locked most.famously cod games

    @op you can't change it.unless you are in a region that supports the language.you are requesting like us English you must.be in the us

    And you would.have to. make .the.correct purchase
