Just type few words of the subject on any search engine and you will see that we are not the only one having big issues with the console.

First, CD drive problems... after loosing a lot of time with the technical support web site, we needed to send back the console for repair (or repalcement). OK, that could happen, but...

When coming back, the CD player has still a problem reading Bluray disks and even some CD games we have (that used to work). Loosing again a lot of time with the technical support (weird) procedures... like "...try the disk on another Xbox One console"...
yes, we have many of them ;-).

Now, the Kinect doesn't work anymore... going again through the technical support web site and all the procedures to know that we have to ask for another service repair. grrrrrr...

Very anoying and frustrating especially when we have children. THEY ALSO THINKING THAT XBOX ONE IS A PIECE OF CR...

Now, after one year of trials and errors and loosing lots of time with the "technical support procedures", we just want to get rid of it and be reinbursed to have a PLAYSTATION 4. In the mid time, we reconnected the NINTENDO WII station which is still the
one to beat in terms of reliability.

Microsoft is really loosing his credibitiy by selling unrealiable products.

^^ As the previous poster asked what have you tried? There are a number of troubleshooting steps that could possibly help with your issues if you haven't already tried them. Let us know.

Hi there in order to be reimbursed you would have to return it to the retailer you bought from. You can try sending it out for repair again.

 

First of all to the OP sorry to hear that you are having bad issues with your Xbox One, but you can do a search like that with any console and other Electronics/gadgets and You'll have no problem finding hits on a Google search on a perticular Product..
doessen't nesseserely indicate that a Product is generally a piece of "so and so".. With any Console or other types of electronics With a large user base you are pretty much guaranted to find People having issues With them if thats what you search for..

I've been gaming since the C64 days and own or have owned every console since the PS1 and the original Xbox.. I'm a big fan of both PS and Xbox and I've had a minimal of fuss and issues With both console series.. Only had one PS2 die on me within the first
week after the launch, but I got Lucky and could exhange it for a New one when som dude had neglected to pick up his preorder within the deadline..

From what I've been able to pick up on from the net and other conventional media it seem that the quality of the Xbox One has been improved in comparison to the 360.. But even so there is "good old" Murphy and his Law and I suspect that he doessn't play
favorites...

As ProGamer4Life13 says for a reimbursement You'll need to contact the retailer where you bought the console from to check out the possibilty of them taking it back... Or give the service Department an other shot at fixing the issues...

I can understand that one console be defective, this could happen. However, it is unacceptable that the replacement one be also defective with the same issue. This why I believe what I said.

In addition, these are not the only problems we had with this console. We are not geeks but, we have played with a lot of electronic devices for many years and, believe me, this is the most frustrating product we have used up to now.

If you would like to get an Xbox One at a good price, let me know ;-). We would be willing to exchange it for the last one (Xbox 360), which we regret replacing.
