    Xbox one ir control


    Hi guys, just purchased an xbox one and I like how the ir turns my tv on and off with my xbox one.

    The question is i want to buy an it extender and use it to turn my xbox 360 on which is running through my xbox one.

    In the tv setup I only have 5 manufactures of tv to select ir commands for, how can I control my 360 in the same way?

    Have you ever configured your Xbox One to
    control your soundbar with IR    ? The Xbox One X has a built-in IR emitter, so it could possibly be toggling the soundbar power.

    Check here: Settings > TV & OneGuide > Device control

    The Xbox One with Kinect allows IR blasting and is not a receiver, so no IR remote can control the X1
