Ive been using an ethernet cable to run my families wifi from the router/modem straight to my xbox to help with my lag issues for almost a year. As of the past month or so, my ethernet cable wasnt working for it, so ive been having to use wireless since
then and just dealing with the lag. Ive done all i can to try to get the cable to work, but one thing ive noticed will trying over and over is it says my Xbox is in IPv6 and that my internet/router is setup for IPv4, it brings this up often when i try to get
my ethernet cable to work, i wonder if this could be a reason why my ethernet cable doesnt work. It doesnt say how i can get if changed or whatever i need to do, im in a great need of help as most of my games are almost unbearable to play with the wireless
    lag.

im unsure of which modem/router it is cause it doesnt have the option below, but its an Arris SBG7400AC2 cable modem and wifi router

    :)
