Xbox One Internet Data Usage

Hello everyone iam about to get Xbox One Next Week but , i have my fears of data usage since my connection is limited to 100 Giga per month and my internet speed is 10 Mega Bite , and the only games i will play is , Forza horizon 2 and forza 5 and
fifa 15 , and i dont play more than 5-6 hours per day , maybe more hours when the consoles arrive the first days for download games , also my latency is arround 30ms , i hope someone answer me ,thanks

Thanks for posting, and sorry to see the high bandwidth usage! Has your Xbox One's data usage looked accurate after 5/31? This may have been a visual bug, and your Xbox One console most likely has not reached anywhere near 3,600 TB of data usage. The most
reliable tool to check internet usage will be through your ISP. Any bandwidth usage your Xbox One console actually uses will reflect on the ISP side. I would not worry about your Xbox One console using that much data unless your ISP is reflecting the same
amount of usage.

Maybe that is the case, I have no way to check the data usage right now other than through the windows 10 network settings. I might just ring up our isp tomorrow and check what they say our data usage has been. Just out of curiosity though how come it shouldn't use internet data?

You may experience an increase of data volume on first installation of the games as they may require updates.

Normally you should have no problems with your Internet connection and your traffic limitation.

The data usage that they show on the Xbox One Network Settings page is just measured from the Xbox One and how much it uses, not all your internet on your router.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you have question on how much data a game uses. This would be best answered first by developers. As we don't have that type of data. The only other thing is to monitor the usage yourself over a period of time.

Well, last month my family used 555 GB of data. According to Comcast the cap for my current level of service is 600 GB, although when i check my usage details it states " enforcement of the 250GB data consumption threshold is currently suspended." So so
far so good in Chicago area.
