Xbox One internet connectivity issue

Hello,

Yesterday my Xbox One S was working fine, as usual. When I woke up today I was having a very unusual internet connectivity issue. My Xbox believes it is successfully connected to the internet (running a network connection test returns the result that I'm
connected, wired), but no app (Netflix/Twitch/YouTube) or game I try to play will function because they claim I have no internet connection. In addition to this, the home screen still displays the "Connect to Xbox Live" button, and my friends list is perpetually
locked showing the same 5 friends online playing the same games for hours (even though I've confirmed they aren't online and other friends not shown are). Also, navigating any menus, including system settings, was very laggy/unresponsive and occasionally would
freeze up until I went to the home screen and closed the Settings app to try again.

First, I tried power cycling my modem, router and Xbox, as per the usual recommended steps. After attempting that twice, I tried clearing my console's persistent storage and alternate MAC address and power cycling again. Still nothing. My other game consoles/computer/phone
are all connecting to my network/internet with no issue. Finally, I decided to factory reset my console, hoping a clean wipe would get me somewhere. Nope. Wired as usual, the console successfully passes the network test, but fails to get any update information.
The error code it gives me isn't on Microsoft's website of listed codes, either, so I go for updating the console offline (error code: 0x8B0500B6 0x00000000 0x00000201. I tried searching just the 8B0500B6 part as recommended). I successfully download the file
and update my console through troubleshooting mode, which then brings me back to the reset point I was at, where it continues to check for updates and get this error message forever. I'm stuck and I need help!
