I tried all the recommended fixes, and none work at all. The only thing that makes the issue go away temporarily is changing the Xbox One HDMI Type. It solves the issue for 15-30 minutes and then it always returns. Really annoying that I spent a few hours
fishing all the wires through the wall to the back of the TV and now have to take the unit back to Best Buy for an exchange after only a week...

Xbox One intermittent flashing "snowy" screen.

Bought a new xb1 on november. Am seriously considering returning it. I have experienced strange behavior from day 1, including tv not working. All I see is the occasional still picture from the cable box, but it's mostly snow. Not only that, but sometimes
the icons on the home screen disappear. How is this a released product?!?

I'm also having this issue and have tried unplugging hdmi cables, hard reset, fiddling with refresh rates and can't get anything to work. Then it even started having weird audio issues where everything sounded like it was in slow motion (it's funny at first
but ultimately annoying). Here's a video:

    [View:]

OS version: 6.2.11797.0 (i'm a early preview member)

    Projector is Optoma HD25-LV

UPDATE: After doing another hard reset, I no longer have the screen flashing or audio issues BUT I now have an equally annoying issue where the entire screen "jumps" from time to time... What's the deal?!

Xbox One intermittent flashing "snowy" screen.

I had to upgrade to a quality hdmi cable to go from the cable to the xbox to solve the TV show issue every once in a while. The budget cable I guess wasn't carrying the signal without interference.

  9. I am experiencing the same thing. It seems to happen while I'm watching various types of video for the most part locally via the internet or via playto. I don't think I've noticed this while playing a game. I'm on the current build as well so I don't
think anything has been resolved by Microsoft as of yet.
