xbox one installing games even though its already installed

went to play titanfall 2 and it had a 4gb update. i left it to download and came back to it installing the whole game again. it says its updating not installing and if i hit start it give me the option to unistall still l. is this just a visual glitch its
not at 4gb yet. but if i go to the game manager it still says its installed. please help my internet is slow i dont want to have to install all 60gb again

Question? How long does Halo 5 take to install?

Ok its at 65% now @ 10:39 pm and I've tried truing off the WiFi and that just stops the game from installing? Its like its fucking downloading and installing the game off the fucking MS store/internet even though I bought the game on a fucking DISC and am installing it that way?!

You already started the update, pulling it now is leaving the update in the middle of installing and you need the internet to install that.

DLC that had been purchased isn't downloadable.

I downloaded Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for the Xbox One since it was backwards compatible, but after installing it, most of the DLC I downloaded for the game won't be able to be installed unless I pay for them, even though I already paid for it.

I'm sorry to see any download issues! We had seen this towards the end of last year, however the main issue had been resolved. What we tend to see now are outliers, like yourself, who still see this issue.

Are you installing this on an external hard drive, or is this on the Xbox One's internal hard drive? This will help us determine if it's a new issue, or if we need to focus on troubleshooting to avoid future full game downloads like this.

^That will not work. When you install a game to a hdd, it is applyed to the xbox that it was installed on. Therefore, when you try to go play on your xbox. It will say install game even though its installed to the xbox. This is due to Copyright laws and
to prevent pirating.

I see no folder associated with the game what so ever, I have gone through all my folders and I currently do not see anything. What Occurs is its asking me to install currently even though I had already installed, I have 80 gigs of space left its saying i don't have enough space for an install.

Yes. Happens with all the games it just started with Gold with Your Friends. But now I cannot even initiate a download. Now it wants me to install Gaming Services even though it is already installed.

I have installed it via the Xbox itself it says I install on the store as if I own it but after all the splash screen it then says on the game that I have to but it from the store even though I already own it
