xbox One installations problem

Hi Guys,

I have an Xbox-One with the latest OS update. I am very frustrated, because the box don't install any games. I have tried all of process what I found on the internet. (YT, tons of forum etc...)

Hardreset / Offline, Online, Delete the saved games, Clear Factory reset. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. Nothing help.

Normally the installation started, but around 2-5% (depends on the games) stopped. Whit out any messages. Simply the install bar stopped. The disc sound in the drive will be quieter.

I have tried 3 different games.

Maybe the internal blueray drive has failure?

Thanks if somebody has a good conception to solve the problem.

Hi there OffsideApollo!

Installing Forza 5 does take a long time! If you are downloading it, then it needs to stay connected to your network, otherwise it will pause and resume next time you sign in.

It is normal for it to take this long, as it is a large install (nearly 40GB if I remember correctly).

Rest assured, if you just leave it to install, it will do it's thing.

- Are you installing this game from the Microsoft Store?

- Do you have any external storage units plugged into your console?

Have you tried to reboot your router, this can be caused by a bad connection sometimes. I experience this when there are lots of people connected to my router, a tell tale sign is that it only installs the disc content but cant cant the needed content from
online.
