Xbox One Installation halt/Store not updating?

I've been experiencing an issue regarding the installation of games and apps on my Xbox Ones. Upon reaching a certain point in a given download (typically around 3GB) the download speed drops until the download effectively stops, according to the queue/store
screen. Xbox does not throw any error codes for me to work with and related services are funtioning as normal. I checked my download traffic and the xbox is still shown as taking bandwidth corresponding to the download I'm fruitlessly attempting. Xbox shows
the store as requiring an update, and upon trying to update the store the download queues but it stays perpetually on "updating" with no sign of any further update progress. As stated, I have experienced this issue on two seperate consoles: my old first generation
and a brand new, straight-out-of-the-box Xbox One X that I transferred my profile over to. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? At this point I have seemingly exhausted my list of potential solutions and any input would be greatly appreciated.

Since I originally posted this, I have found the root of the problem. I went through xbox support via phone call and they helped me pinpoint the source of the issue, which has something to do with my xbox live profile. While the root problem has not be solved,
and I don't really have a solution for it, I found a workaround using an alternate account. By signing out of my main account and signing into an alternative account I was able to download content successfully. For the people I spoke with for technical support
this was an entirely unforseen issue, so I imagine that this is a very rare occurence but I will post this here for the benefit of anyone who might have experienced it.

It might also be important to note that for this method to work the xbox you are using must be set as the home xbox of the account that owns the content

I found a solution for mandatory updates not installing, and I would like to share it with all of you.

- I observed that the mandatory updates that would not get installed were related to Xbox.

- So, I installed the Xbox app from the Store.

- I opened Store and Updated ( a flight Sim update was downloaded and installed)…

- I started Flight Sim. An UPDT of 2.67GB needed to be installed

After that the issue was resolved. I do hope that helps, and I thank every one of you giving your ideas.

If the console is connected to the net right now then head over to Settings and see if there is an update pending for the console. If there is then that may be what is halting the other updates.
