Xbox one installation and update problems

Hey all I'm having a slight issue with my system updating our preloading games. I noticed this a few weeks back, but for instance when I got home today I noticed the evolve beta had not downloaded. And I also had a forza horizon 2 update that has been lingering
in my downloads for some time now. Evolve I had prompted for download via smartglass and forza is a diftaltitle(digital title). Just fyi all my setting are on instant resume a installs are checked on. Also I had recently moved all my games over to a passport
3tb external, any help would be appreciated. Please forgive the spelling my phone is acting up.

installing is so screwed up!

Microsoft has very predictible and stable downloading and installs for the 360. Phil Spencer said Xbox One install problems are one of his highest priority issues to fix on the Xbox One. Question: with all of the software and hardware experience Microsoft has, how could they launch the One with install issues this severe and why hasn't it been fixed in an update.? Were almost a year in and people are still having problems with game installation.

Why does it take so long for games to install?

Not sure if MS changed this or not, but this was one of the reasons why games were installing slower.

The Xbox One was designed to be always connected to the Internet. It means that every time a new game disc is placed in the console, the system makes the decision to download and install the game updates along with installing the game on the hard drive. If a game has over 500 MB worth of updates, the installation of the core files will not be finished until that 500 MB is downloaded and installed.

To get rid of the long installation process, simply go into offline mode on the Xbox One, and voila, problem solved. At the end of the day, the user will still have to download those updates, but at least with this option, they can play their favorite title while updates are being downloaded in the background.

I did have one security update pending, but installing it and restarting didn't solve the problem.

Xbox companion, Xbox accessories and Xbox game bar are all installed and updated.

As I mentioned in the previous post, we cannot guarantee stable connectivity on a cellular network as the Xbox One consoles are more demanding. System updates for the Xbox One come in much smaller packets than full game downloads do, which would be a difference
between under 100 MB vs several gigs of game data.

I strongly recommend having a network that can handle those bigger downloads.

Can I get any sort of help? Maybe a "We will look into it" atleast, I typically see people get help in a few hours if that just something to give me some kind of hope please.

Sorry to hear about the similar issues! Since this thread is older, please post new threads detailing the issue along with troubleshooting steps you have tried. Keep in mind that 3G or 4G LTE connections will normally run into these types of issues.
