    Xbox One Initial Update stuck


    Just got an Xbox One for Christmas. First was met with E305 error but solved that. Now the update is stuck at 32% for over an hour. Is this because of the downtime that Xbox Live has been experiencing over the past few days?

    New X-Box one wont update.

    Sri Jaymo, he is on a brand new Xbox One so he should not affected by the preview issue.

    The other guys are stuck in the initial update process, where the OSUDT is not recommended.

    Meanwhile the services should be partially back, as I already have reports on now again working initial updates.

    Also is it safe to turn off the console or cancel the update while it's in progress. I may have to leave the house soon and unsure if I should leave the console running.

    I've tried that already. Still doesnt update. My xbox one is stuck at the initial set up. I can't even get to a home screen.
