    Xbox One inactivity not powering down


    At night, I usually fall asleep with my X1S on. Watching netflix,or usually Twitch. My Xbox is set to turn off after 1 hour of inactivity, but I wake up every morning with it still playing. Tried hard reset, and don't have a kinect attached.

    Hi

    Firstly can you please check your setting on the console to if the power save setting on the console are powering the console down after a period of inactivity to do this please press the guide button then Select Setting / Power & startup / Power mode &
    startup and in the top left under option you should see a setting to turn the console off after a period of inactivity you may need to change.

    If the console is powering down without warning when in use please try
    following this guide     to hopefully troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing.

    Have you got autoshut down set in the settings? Probably not the cause, but worth checking. Although it should only really shut down afer a specific time of inactivity. Also, Im not sure, but is there child settings on the Xbox One to set a specific gameplay
    time?

    Hi there!

    Yes, there is. :) If you go into System > Settings > Power & Startup > Power Mode & Startup, there should be an option to never power down your Xbox, under the 'Turn off after' drop down field. The default setting is to shut down after 6 hours of inactivity.

    Is there a screen saver ???

    The Xbox will usually dim the screen and turn off the controller after a period of inactivity. However, there is an option in settings which will automatically power down the console after a certain period of time. Then all you have to do (if instant-on
    is enabled) would be to say Xbox On, or just turn it on manually. To my current knowledge, there is no screensaver available for the Xbox One.

    My controller turns off while im watching a movie

    You need to plug it in via USB or i would suggest getting thr remote. The controller will power down after 15min of inactivity if not connected via USB. This is not changeable

    As long as your console is set to be your account Home Xbox, all updates will push and download automatically. Just make sure you have the power options set to always on and have the "hard drive inactive when powered down" box unchecked on that same screen.
    As for your other questions regarding the "Enhanced" titles, I can not say for sure.
