Xbox One in tv cupboard?

Neat and tidy mine is. Virgin box in the cupboard, Xbox standing next to my TV as it will melt in the cupboard.

The controllers should still work, but just make sure there's enough ventilation for the Xbox or else it'll over heat and shut down to protect itself.

The glass could cause issues. I had mine in a tv unit , but had to take it out . There was lots of room about it , but the heat kept building up and the console eventually shut down after over heating 👍🤔

I have a friend that has there Xbox in a similar place like what you speak of.

It does see to affect the sync of the controller sometimes.

As others have said my concern would be ventilation. I believe the controller signal should be ok though.
