Xbox one in non official supported countries

Hey guys lets say I am from chile, but as u know Chile is not an official supported country by the xbox one . So if I decide to buy an xbox one from us and bring it to chile, am I going to be able to play in xbox live or no.

See the link below for Xbox Live supported countries, and official Xbox statement. As you can play Xbox offline anywhere, however Xbox Live may or may not work depending on which country you're in.

TV Tuner in NON supported countries

I am having a buyer's remorse. Key features of the X1 simply dont work. Kinect is a joke, TV tuner is crippled for no sane reason, last nights install of GTAV took over 2 hours...i mean, get your act together guys, not only you are lagging behind Sony, but
you cant afford to *** off your existing customers. For me the hassle of returning it back is the bigger issue, but i would not hesitate to do it these dont get fixed pronto.

 

you will be able to Play Xbox Live, but you can`t purchase Content on the Xbox Store (Games,DLC,Video, Apps).

Also some other Content is not available (Apps,Xbox Video,Netflix etc.)

Please do enough Research about what you want to do, if it is possible before getting one..

It could be embarassing, at the Moment it can be difficult to get Games with Gold for XB1.

But yes you are able to Play Online via Xbox Live on a "unsupported" Xbox One.

As I do I`m from Switzerland, but I can`t get the DLC for Titanfall or Battlefield for Example.

And "free" games for Gold i needed to purchase via xbox.com and enter a CreditCard (For that no garantuee that it works), of course it was for free but tricky.
