    Xbox One HOTAS support, PS4 has it, why not xbox?


    So, I was wondering why Xbox has not yet given any indication for a future support for HOTAS for all our flight/space simulator games and the like. I mean even the PS4 has it! I am a big time Elite: Dangerous player and I love the game. I don't have the
    money for a proper PC rig to play the game (nor do I want to go through the game as a beginner again). so that leaves me with the Xbox version of the game. I love it. it's amazing. It could be that much more amazing if we had HOTAS for the xbox one. I don't
    think it would be that difficult to code in since the Xbox runs on a slightly modified version of Windows 10 I have heard. So XDev's please makea Xbox HOTAS support a real thing. and for all you people out there on the forums I ask you to vote here: https://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/251650-console-hardware-accessories/suggestions/6289458-hotas-for-...
    and make Microsoft listen!!!!!

    Because I think that when Elite Dangererous comes out for the PS with HOTAS support. a lot of people might switch console...

    Hotas and copilot

    Hey,

    I was wondering if we are going to get an software update in the future that will allow us to use both Hotas and controller at the same time in copilot mode. As of right now the xbox does not recognize the Hotas as a controlling device and therefore we can
    not use the copilot option with it. I find this a little weird cause the Hotas for xbox has been out for a while now. You can use the Hotas and it does allow you to navigate but the controller does it so much better and the thing is that the Hotas is not very
    good at navigating the menu's in a game. It is possible but it's not very user friendly. Again the controller does this way better.

    Hotas compatibility

    The Xbox supports multiple devices as long as the game accepts them :) If I remember correctly there is a HOTAS made for the Xbox One... I think is called HOTAS One. Have you tried using that one?

    it looks like the pedals are compatible but you might need to get the T.Flight Hotas One joystick.

    Microsoft flight simulator 2020 compatible peripheral devices

    You should be able to use the Thrustmaster Hotas One and matching pedals as the Hotas One was specifically made to be Xbox One compatible.

    It also works on PC once you have downloaded the drivers from the Thrustmaster support pages.

    Purchased thrustmaster full flight kit(hotas and pedals) for xbox one and they dont work with xbox one.

    thx for the reply. I found listings for the T-Flight Hotas One for xbox one and the xbox green logo is on the box. I also found videos of people unboxing and using these xbox one hotas. I also see the rudder pedals on the thrustmaster site. They say the
    pedals are part of the ecosystem and will connect to the T-Flight Hotas One. But I cant find out which pedals are actually compatible with xbox one. Thrustmaster does make hotas and pedals for xb1. But the Full Flight Kit Bundle isn't showing a compatibility
    with xb1.
