XBOX One horrible upload speed, packet loss and i'm on a WIRE.

OK i'm not here to ask for the same obvious tech support tips that everyone's mother already knows so only remark if you know what your talking about.

System is the xbox one original (with a samsung SSD internal drive swap)

Docsis 3.1 modem, (have tried 3 different models all of them are stand alone modems not router/modem combos)

Router is an Asus RT-AC68U flashed with latest asuswrt (merlin firmware)

I have all Cat 7 cable, and I have tried a second set of all Cat 6 cable, all cable is less than 20 feet segments.

I DO NOT USE ANY WIFI ... I have disabled the wifi on the router it's never on, never will be so don't suggest it because it's not the issue.

ISP is SPECTRUM (crappy I know) 400Mbit down/20Mbit up

    So...

I use to get my regular paid for speeds no problem on my xbox using all the same hardware mentioned above and then one day about 7 months ago or so it went to hell. I believe it was right about the time M$ started pushing all this trash with cortana, alexis,
new avartar editors, MIXER.... you know when they forgot we bought the xbox to GAME and not to play pocket pull with amazon. So my issue is now I get my 400mbits down still, but about 2-3mbits up and always a packetloss of 1-3%.

So here are the things I have done to try and resolve my issue as well as the thing items I believe to not be a contributing factor.

***My PC gets the same speeds just fine still on this same network, this problem is largely aligned with the xbox***

*Got Spectrum to actually run me a private line direct from the main box to my residence.

    *Upnp (enabled/disabled)

*Port forwarded (without Upnp on I know)

    *DMZ (without upnp or portforwarding)

    *Different DNS servers

    *Disabled Firewall entirely

*Disabled TrendMicro deep packet scanning on router

*Configured QoS tried it mutliple ways, and tried without it on at all as well

*Bypassed the router ENTIRELY and went straight to the modem still same issues on all 3 modems

*Booted up my xbox360 to see if it could get better connection by chance... same trash on the upload

*Enabled IPv6 and it's correctly configured and passing ipv6 tests online , still same trash

    *Disabled IPv6 still same trash

*Disabled all passthroughs (SIP, RTSP, H.23, PPTP, L2Tp, IPSEC) no luck

*ENABLED all passthroughs as well neither way mattered at all

*Performed an entire factory recovery on my xbox using the eject/sync and power button trick and choose options to do a full recovery keep nothing. Had to download all the games and everthing again including profile and still the same BS....

Now understand once in a rare moment I can run the test and I'll score great then it goes away the very next time I reset, play a game or shut down. I've even installed those EMI reducing rings on the usb cables that connect to the back of the xbox for my
keyboard and charging cable. The only other info I can offer you all is that in my connection logs I always see the ports connected as 3074->3544 teredo (which I realize is the ipv6 encapsulation) but why do I never see a straight connection when I have ipv6
enabled? The Xbox has an ipv6 address on both the xbox itself in settings, and on my router in the leases page, and as mentioned above the xbox can pass IPv6 test websites no problem, still never see a single ipv6 connection or handshake. Is it possible that
something in my profile settings or the profile itself could be corrupt and causing this? I'm beyond frustrated because each new dashboard update is just more TRASH to bloat the system with, and live service just begins to circle the drain faster... but AT
LEAST WE CAN ALL USE ALEXIS NOW!!! and THANK GOD for that and the game dragging MIXER streamers... they are really a joy to have in the game aren't they?

    :)

As you have admitted to modifying your console this thread cannot continue. Discussions involving modded consoles is not allowed.

Without you doing a network sniffer investigation it will be near impossible for anyone to conclusively determine where your problem originates as you have NOT obtained the relevant data to identify the source of your issue. It's not really fair for you
to blame Microsoft when the problem could just as easily be your ISP or local router fault.

If IPv6 is a potential problem source, have you tried switching to using only IPv6?

One thing that if you would let me to point out.

Have you tried to connect your console to a different Internet Source, router or with a mobile hotspot perhaps.

To check if you would have the same result.

Cause as far as I know, your console don't have much. Its design to be plug an play, and its Internet connection will always depend on its source.

try a system restore> settings>system>console info>reset console..... I chose the option to reset and keep my games and apps

this resolved 2 things for me:

    1. high latency (normally I was around 20 and it went up to 150)

    2. only connecting at 70 Mbps instead of 170

my issues seem to be when my networking hardware changes. ie I had a new router put in that had better wifi but seemed to upset my xbox networking

so yeah try the restore and see how it goes, merry christmas Santa has spoken hohoho

Why do y'all even bother posting responses if you don't read the damn ORIGINAL POST. At least half of all the responses I have received are advising to make a change that was already noted in the original post. Christ!!.. something is going on with Live
service in regards to upload speed for certain users and I would really like to know why some are getting 50Mbps up and others 2Mbps when they pay for the same speeds.

You guys aren't reading my original post fully. Plus my second post i even added a screenshot showing the test and if you READ what it says "Your network is NOT behind a NAT". This is a test i ran with direct connection to a vanilla modem, meaning my xbox
had a PUBLIC facing IP, which is the most RAW of a connection you can achieve. I don't understand why microsoft has me connecting to both the san antonio azure server as well as the one in des moines. I live in Dallas so the san antonio server makes sense
and i realize occasionally we all have to make connections to the redmond location. Do a search in these forums for slow upload and packet loss and you will see this is a wide ranging issue that is gaining momentum
