Xbox one Horrible customer service experience

Discus and support Xbox one Horrible customer service experience in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; it is my 1st time dealing with warranty with Microsoft or Xbox and it has been a horrible one. i can not imagine any company on earth to have worst...     Xbox one Horrible customer service experience


    it is my 1st time dealing with warranty with Microsoft or Xbox and it has been a horrible one. i can not imagine any company on earth to have worst process or warranty support. Purchased Xbox one new from target 8/13/2016. it stopped working in may 2017.
    Unit turns on and off within seconds and never worked. registered it with xbox and was not asked purchased date whihc was odd. system put 3/13/2016 as purchase date even though i started my xbox live gold membership on 8/14/2016. and unit was new sealed and
    was only turned on and connected to internet on 8/14/2016. contacted customer service and they asked for original receipt whihc i throw away. so i contacted my credit card company to get me duplicate original receipt. 6 weeks later working with horrible customer
    service, i they fixed my purchase date on their site to 8/13/2016. now i can not go past clikcing "request repair". i get the following error:

    We’re sorry, but something went wrong on our end. Please try again later. (tvAcWuG/JVoIej/z.0)

    Does anyone know what to do? i am getting the feeling that xbox/Microsoft put road blocks to make sure people give up and walk away from requesting warranty help. this is beyond any bad customer service i have ever had in my life. customer service is the most
    important thing about buying any item. how do i get any real help with this company?

    First freeze has happen in 1st week, then freeze every 5 days. It was very hard to recreate issue and troubleshooting as per xbox support took me almost 3 weeks. When we finished troubleshoot retailer denied to replace it as month has passed. Retailer (recommended
    by Mincrosoft/XBOX) denied to help me saying that I could return/replace xbox in 14 days only. Still seems silly ?

    I am a dad. I have bought XBOX 360 for my 5 years old daughter.

    My xbox started to freeze a week after purchase (hidden flaw). Then I have spend days to recreate issue and troubleshoot instead of replacing it at shop for new one. I was miss lead in my options by xbox support. In my case they have sent me refurbished
    console with scratched/chipped plastics. Ruining all the joy of my kid.

    Don't ever throw away a receipts for expensive items.

    Call them on the phone or live chat with Xbox support and explain what happened. I'm sure they can get the ball rolling with setting up a repair.

    I've always found them to be really helpful.

    Yeah,phone them.Phone support isn't the greatest at times but I have always found them helpful when it comes to sorting out getting a console repaired.

    And that is coming from lots of experience isn't it? Didn't you have like 5 consoles fail?

    5 xbox ones & about 11 xbox 360's over the years.

    Xbox ones were all disc reading issues,xbox 360's were different things.Only ever got the red ring once though.

    thank you all for the feedback. Yes, I have called, emailed and chatted to the support team many many times. From when it was 2 months delayed at least twice a month. I didn't take it back to the shop cause unfortunately I bought it on the internet and it
    was one of the downsides I guess to buying it online, but we had the microsoft warranty. It's a very simple case, it amazes me how such a big corporation can let this happen.

    If your Xbox 360 is having issues after only one week, why wouldn't you just exchange it at the retailer that you had purchased it from? Seems silly to send it away.

    Please calm down, I understand your problem, but there is no need to break down the support team. The best thing you could do was going back to the store and ask for a new one but yeah that is a bit late... The only thing i can say you can do now is, call
    xbox support or email them. And tell them your still dont have your console back. You can also check your repair status online.
