    XBox One Homescreen


    I am just trying to set up my XBox One as a media centre on my living room TV, but the Home Screen is so appalling and user unfriendly I don't know if I want to now.

    What I would like is a beautiful daily updating BING colourful photo as a backgroud or the option to have my own photos, and a small menu and/or the option to add boxes on the screen like the win10 start menu with my apps, etc (TVPlayer, Spotify, Netflix
    and the current game I have in the CD drive).

    My living room is a place of hygge, with nice pictures on the walls, and the XBox interface is just the complete opposite, its tech game clutter, completely devoid of artistic value or creative merit.

    No way I am buying the new XBox if you can't come up with an interface better than this poxy one.

    The XBox is capable of being a home media centre, capable of managing TV, Films, Music, video communications etc, etc . Yet MS is still aiming this box at spotty teenagers who have them in their bedrooms.

    you would be better creating a dedicated home media machine from a cheap used pc, least then you can customize it exactly as you want.
