    Xbox One Home Setting With Multiple People


    I am doing a license transfer with my Dad so he gets my games (he does not do the transfer with me) my friend wants to a license transfer with me so I can get For Honor from him.

    Will this effect the transfer with my Dad?

    Why can you only set a home Xbox 3 times a year?

    The Home console feature exists for family members to share games and gold memberships. It's also useful for people treveling or people with multiple consoles. It's not to be used for gamesharing with friends. That is why there is a limit.

    "If you have more than one Xbox One console, or if you sign in on multiple consoles, we recommend you designate the most frequently used console as your home Xbox."

    Upgraded to Xbox one s but a problem

    Is the old Xbox One still set up?Sometimes people will still have the old console set up as the home console in settings and this will cause issues if the S is also set up as the home console.

    Your account: Dad's Xbox as home

    Friend's account: Your Xbox as home

    You will be able to play your own games but only when connected to the Internet.

    You will be able to play your friend's games at anytime.

    Your dad will get access to all your games (Yours only, not your friend's too) and can be played at anytime.

    Your friend will be able to play only his games and must be connected to the Internet.

    Multiple people can set the same console as their home Xbox, but an account can only have one home Xbox.

    Are you able to use the "Make this my home Xbox" one more than 1 console?

    Unfortunately only one console can be set as your home console. The whole point of it is that you are choosing which console is your main console and most people only have one. This prevents people buying one live subscription and setting multiple consoles
    to home which allows multiple other people to share the same subscription without paying.

    You may need to reset your relative's console to not be your home and then try it on your own console again.

    You can make only one Home Xbox for one account. You can set multiple accounts as Home Xbox for the same Xbox.
