    Xbox One Home screen right where your gamer pic is is your name gamer tag name gamer score is and there is the message icon right under your gamer score is stock at 1 message and will not go away I have no message at all my message box is empty its just
    stuck at one right there please help steps I have done to try and fix the issue are clear xbox one cache delete profile and re add it and set console back to factory settings

    Are you talking about when your on the dashboard and under you GT is your gamer score then the message envelope?

    If you are the slot above your gamer tag is reserved for your name. Is it at all possible you or someone you know changed your name too "Ace Of". ???

    Question

    On the "Friends" tab where it shows your Gamertag/Name, Gamer Score.. etc.

    What is the symbol between Gamer Score and Messages... it says "1" beside it and I don't know what it is or how to clear it.

    Are you in the Xbox One Preview Program? If not, that message may be from a friend of yours who is in the preview program and the message simply isn't supported on your current version of your console. =)

    Gamer tags can't. Be deleted but can be name changed. You can also make a new account for free but you will loose all gamer points. To change a gamer tag it costs 800 Microsoft points and you keep all your achivements and gamers score

    Real Names

    Slayers post said that you are going to have the ability to share your real name with friends of friends. The real name system ties in to the custom gamer pics.

    If friends of friends where able to see my gamer pic you would have problems.
