    Xbox One home screen reboots


    I am having trouble with my Xbox One home screen.

    From time to time while in a game, when I press the Xbox button on my controller and try to go the home screen there is a delay of a few seconds and then the home screen kind of "reboots" while playing the login-sound.

    The UI disappears briefly and then is built-up tile by tile with the sound mentioned above.

    This is a little bit annoying and honestely kind of embarrassing when having friends over at my place (who own a PS4 like everyone in Germany).

    I'd like to show them how awesome the Xbox platform is and then glitches like these happen.

    I already tried restarting (cold start) the console and also did a complete reset of the operating system on the Xbox One, but to no avail.

    Does anyone have any other tips?

    I hope the next update will solve this issue and speed up the UI in general.

    my xbox reboot screen is loading but my homescreen wont come up/on

    my sons xbox one started loading games really slowly .. then it would only go on green xbox screen saying taking to long to load home screen.. now its not connecting at all .. can here the moter in it but sounds slow.. tried reboot but not working .. just

    I recently changed the display output on my Xbox one to HDMI manual in an attempt to fix the screen size in accordance with my TV. This has caused the Xbox to black screen and i am no longer able to reach the home page upon reboot. I am currently
    trying methods of hard reboot using an USB but so far my Xbox is failing these reboots. Any help would be great thanks. Note that i'm not able to get onto the Xbox home screen whatsoever.

    Thanks but I've already tried all the reboot options listed by Xbox. When carrying out the reboot my Xbox will ring the power up sound twice but then instantly follow with a power down.

    Please try this: Lets reboot the system completely. With the console on, press and hold the power button on the console for 5 seconds until it shuts off. Unplug the power supply, wait about 30 seconds and then plug it in and reboot. You should see the
    green Xbox One splash screen upon reboot. It may take a minute to boot all the way to the home screen.
