Xbox One home button not working on LunarWhite controller.

I recently and by recently I mean yesterday got my self a LunarWhite controller for the Xbox One and everything was working fine until after I had done my raid in Destiny then the Home butting stopped working completely. It won't let me go to the Dashboard
or snap which is proving really irritating at the moment. If anyone has any suggestions on how I may be able to over come this slight technical problem I would certainly appreciate the help.

xbox controller home button issue wont resolve

OK strange new development/observation

it appears if i plug the controller into the xbox via usb, than still the home button doesn't work, HOWEVER if i remove the batteries making the controller dependent on the xbox for power then the HOME BUTTON WORKS IMMEDIATELY! while plugged into the xbox
with a working home button if i put the batteries back into the controller, without hitting anything, the home button stops working again.

and remember the controller will turn the xbox on via home button even while not connected by USB...

what in the world is up with this controller?!

Xbox One Controller Home button stopped working

My Xbox One Controller home button just doesn't seem like it wants to work. It worked Saturday but is not working now. If I plug it up with a usb cable it'll come on but the home button still won't work. It's been working on and off but not working more
than anything. Any fix to this problem?

Have you tried restarting your console? Have a look at
support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console

If this doesn't help it sounds as if it may be a problem with the controller, rather than the console

Adding to what NewBlacksmurf said, have you made sure that your console and controllers are up to date?
