XBOX One / Home / Accounts / DLC Sharing (Batman Arkham Knight)

Hoping someone has already figured out my issue.

I have (2) XBOX Ones, which I'll call XBOX-A and XBOX-B. I have (3) "Accounts". 1 account on XBOX-A has XBOX Live. 2 accounts on XBOX-B. Each XBOX One is pointed to the other as it's "HOME" XBOX.

XBOX-A purchased Batman Arkham Knight digitally. I can play it on XBOX-B no problem. However on XBOX-B I purchased some DLC. The DLC doesn't show as purchased to the other account on XBOX-B. I want to buy the Season Pass but I want to buy it where it
will be able to be used by all 3 accounts on both XBOXs (if possible). If it's not possible I'm just going to pass on it.

Thoughts? Anyone else download the DLC and find that it works across all accounts on both

okay, so I understand the whole thing working as follows:

the gamertag or account that buys the DLC, anyone on their home console can use that DLC with their GT. (same with games)

on the second Xbox One, only the gamertag that purchased the DLC will be able to use the DLC (or games).

Does that make sense?

 

So... If I buy the DLC on XBOX-A ... will all accounts on XBOX-B be able to use the DLC as (B) is homed to (A)??

 

That is how it is supposed to work, yes. I would test, but I only have one Xbox until Oct 20th.

 

I might test... It's just that it's a $40 gamble... If the DLC doesn't work on the 2nd XBOX One - I've just wasted $40.

 

I have a question. I share gold with a friend. And from what I understand, and from my experience using this feature, we are able to download digitally downloaded games and content from each other's consoles on to our own. We have done this with a couple
games, but now, as of 3 days ago, I'm unable to play these games even though him and I still share gold. Also, it isn't allowing me to play my own digitally downloaded copy of Destiny that I had obtained for transferring my data onto the Xbox One before the
deadline. Can someone please tell me what is going on?

Sounds like you may had heard misconceptions about how the Home gold program works. There's no sharing between friends so to speak. You have your console (your "Home" Xbox). This means that ANYONE that signs into YOUR console has access to any content you
have purchased/downloaded on that console. When you visit a friend's house and you sign in on their console, anyone on that console will have access to your content as long as you are signed into it. Upon signing out, they lose access to your content.

What it sounds like might have happened is your friend changed his "Home" Xbox back to his console, which would remove the ability for you to play any games he purchased. It sounds like Destiny might have been purchased by him or you purchased it on his console
under his profile instead of yours. You can verify your purchases by going to Sign in to your Microsoft account .

However, it sounds as though you have your "Home" Xbox set to your friend's Xbox and your friend's set to yours (or at least it was). This is not the intent of the sharing feature and can be deemed marketplace theft. Additionally, you can only change your
"Home" Xbox 3 times. So if you reach your 3 swap limit and your Home Xbox is now on someone else's console, you will have to wait a year to change it back. Please read over the
