    Xbox One High Pitched Beeping


    Almost all the time, my Xbox One will make a high pitched, very annoying beeping noise. It makes 2 beeps over and over again for about 10 seconds, stops for a second, and then starts again. I've already done the "clear persistent storage" thing, and I have
    power saving mode on. I don't know what to do about it.

    Xbox One making strange high pitched noises

    I have an Xbox One that is making strange high pitched (beeping sort of, sounds sort of like a malfunctioning fire alarm) noises during an update. I haven't updated nor used the console in a while... I have heard the "high pitched whirring" noises coming
    from my Xbox but this sounds different. Is it just my Xbox updating or do I have an issue with it?

    We are sorry to hear About this Johnson but i do think the latest update has something to do with the turning off automatically. But the Beeping isn't normal i there anyway you can describe the beeping to me is it High Pitched has it been posted on Youtube
    so i can hear it can you please provide more info,

    Here are a few things to consider:

    1. 1. Two beeps will confirm that you have changed the mute setting. If you hear high-pitched beeps and then low-pitched beeps, the mute function is not turned on. If you hear low-pitched beeps and then high -pitched beeps, the mute function is not turned
      off.
    2. 2. Check that the voice function is not muted in the Xbox Guide. To do this, press the Xbox Guide button, select Personal Settings, and then select Voice.
    If these steps do not fix the problem, you may need to contact Xbox Customer Support about replacing your headset.

    I have the same problem. My Xbox One has recently started 'chirping'. I looked around online and found that it seems to have something to do with the fan, and even when cleaned, it will not prevent the chirp. It's super annoying, the only solution is to
    take the Xbox in and get a different one.

    I'm sorry to hear about the issue. If you're continuing to experience this issue, I would recommend fully

    factory resetting     your console. Hopefully that does the trick however if you continue to get networking issues, you'll want to check out our

    well-ventilated    ? Also, does this noise happen under any scenario or a specific one such as playing a game disc?

    Additionally, is your console connected to a wall outlet or power strip?
