    I heard the news that console streaming was expanded to other regions today and came to test it here in Brazil, where I live. I don't know if Brazil is among the new countries that will test streaming, but the fact is that the Xbox One latency here is high regardless the quality of your internet, not allowing streaming.

    I tried to setup console streaming today, but it didn't work due to high Latency network. I have a good internet, it is fiber 300/50 and when I test my Latency in the pc it is never higher the 20 ms, but on xbox it is always higher than 150 ms. Why? According to forums and common knowledge of Xbox gamers here, the reason is that the network test on Xbox connects with american servers, then the high ping.

    I don't know if this info is accurate, but makes sense to explain xbox latency problem here. It brings the question: if this really happens, how game streaming is supposed to work if it requires less then 125 ms to allow you to stream? It gets really confusing, once Brazil has it is own Azure center, by the way in the state I live, so, if the network test connects with azure server in Brazil, my Latency would be probably much less then 150 ms and I would be able to stream.

    So my questions to stream team are: if you are aware of this issue, and what is being done to mitigate it?

    how does one get service or talk to a human regarding xbox. Tried all available online options and get nowhere.

    Wired connection on xbox 1 high latency in 90's. new modem DLspeeds 500mb. When playin on cloud on a mac same wired connection latency is 15-20. Xbox one is specifically were the latency is occurring. need help.

    "Certified" latency, that is, what is needed to run a game correctly via XBOX, by their own words, is supposed to be at 150 milliseconds or lower.

    @taidara ok I will try this and let you know. My isp is windstream. My device is the sagemcom 4320 single device modem and router all in one. Ive run basic connectivity tests but never while having the gm running. Ill let you know the results

    @TheHENCHMAN - When you measure your speed, between two endpoints (you as a client, against a well-known host machine), using your PC, by default, these tests are based on best ping.

    Now, when you do a smilier test, using your Xbox One, the DL/UL speed along with IP connectivity test (ping), to measure the round trip time (RTT) of data, sent from one endpoint to another and then back again, is tested against a host located in Seattle,
    WA (US).

    Do you understand what I'm trying to explain here?
