Do you have any friends that have a controller you could borrow and test? Or can you bring your controller to a buddy's house and see if it disconnects constantly there too? If that's the case, it would indicate that the controller is the issue. And if that
is the issue, you'll want to consider replacing the controller as a factory reset won't help fix controller issues. Of course, trying it is always an option, especially since you can keep your games and apps so it can't hurt anything.

Sorry to hear that your controller won't stay connected. Do you have any devices near your console/controller that may be causing interference? Such as a mobile phone, tablet, etc? Try disabling those devices and see if your controller stays connected. You
can also take a look at our
troubleshooting guide related to controller disconnects. I also would recommend connecting your controller to your console via USB cable to see if it still disconnects.

Give all that a shot before a factory reset.

thank you for the response! Sorry i failed to mention that i have tried all the troubleshoo methods. The only way i can get my controller to work is by connecting it with a usb cable. And the only way i can use the internet is if i connect it directly :/

Hello,

I have a main email address that I used to set up an xbox live account for my nephew YEARS ago. I also have my xbox live account that I use, which I set up almost 2 decades ago, so its a different email. I want to switch my old xbox live account to my current address, so that when I sign into xbox on my PC, my other microsoft applications dont auto sign in to the wrong email address. I cant find a live person to speak to, HEELPP PLZZZZ!!!

Are both email addresses Microsoft email addresses?

If so, then what you are trying to do unfortunately isnt possible since Microsoft email IS the Microsoft account which is in turn the Xbox account.

They are all intrinsically linked when you talk about one or the other you are essentially talking about the same thing across the board.

All versions of the One work the same way.
