    Xbox one headset


    I've been trying for weeks to get my headset to work right. I can't hear anyone and they can't hear me. I've gotten a new controller, didn't work, a new headset, didn't work, my NAT is open and all my things are un-muted. Please someone help me resolve this
    issue I'm going crazy

    Have you tried updating your controller already ? support.xbox.com/xbox-one/accessories/update-controller-for-stereo-headset-adapter

    How are you connecting your headset to the console, through the controller? Are you using the XBOX One headset adapter or something else, or the new controller which includes the 3.5mm jack? Do you have your audio settings configured to use the headset for
    gaming? Have you tried using Skype with the headset? You can dial the test echo number to check if it can hear you etc.

    im having the same issue. Everything is up to date nat is open. im using a standard xbox headset. when unplug it . i still cant hear my friends through the speaker. Please help

    I can understand your frustration with all the bad luck you have been having. And, for the record, I am not part of the Microsoft staff nor an Xbox customer support employee. But, I can say that we have 2 Xbox Ones and 1 Xbox One S, and 2 of the

    Xbox One Stereo Headsets    . And, both headsets work well, with and without the
    Stereo Headset Adapters    , on all our Xboxes.

    Actually the OP is the one suggesting he wear his XBox One headset at the same time as wearing his Polk headset.



    I'm the one suggesting he use his standard headset until they update the XBox ONE to work with the older expensive headsets or until they release new expensive headsets for the ONE.
