Xbox one headset won't let me speak

I have had the original headset that I got with my Xbox one for about a year now. I can't remember exactly when but all the sudden I couldn't talk to anyone. I just kept pushing it off to the side until I eventually bought a new one. The new one still
had the same problems. So I have been on countless forums and watching YouTube videos to try to find a solution but nothing has worked so far. Please is someone knows the solutions tell me, I am really sick of not being able to talk to people.

Mic won't let me speak

I was talking to my friends today and then my mic just randomly stopped working. I can still hear my friends but can't speak to them. I plugged in my other controller and then it started to let me talk. The only problem is that the other controller has the
drifting analog stick. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening??

Xbox headset not letting me talk

Hey everyone,

I'm having an issue with my headset in which when in parties, it won't allow me to talk to people. I can hear everyone, the mute button and speaker is working, but it won't let me talk. My NAT is open and it will work temporarily if I unplug the console
and plug it back in, but will eventually not work again. If anyone knows a solution, please let me know.

This problem was introduced with the last dashboard update, the only solution that works so far is to use a complete wireless headset like the Turtle Beach Stealth 500x, as these are not connected to the controller for the partychat/gamesound. there is also
another problem with the controllers having a disconnection problem that happens randomly.

I have a buzzing noise/sound with new integrated 3.5mm jack controller when I plug in Apple Headphones.

What do I do?

The same problem has happened to me. One user might use the headset and one only. If you tried using two headsets into two different controllers, it won't work. I've tried to do the same when I first got mine with my cousin.

Example; If Player 1 has the headset in and is talking perfectly fine, Player 2 cannot use the other headset and speak to the other users as well. It must be into one controller, (the one that is signed into Xbox Live).

I can't hear anybody through my TB XO One headset, but they can hear me. Game chat is fine, but in party chat it doesn't work. It shows me speaking when I speak, and my friends tell me they can hear me, and if I unplug the headset, I can hear people speaking
through the TV speakers.

The fact that game chat still works proves that it's Microsoft's software, not my headset, adapter, Xbox or controller.

Hello. Today I went to use my chat headset, the one in an Xbox Bundle case with original purchase, and it won't let me talk in parties. I can hear all my friends in the party, but the headset won't let me talk, and it didn't pick up my voice in Skype Echo
tests or in private voice messages either. I even bought a second headset, but it yielded the same result. As I know, I was properly logged in with my controller, and I had reset the router and console respectively. Is there any way to see if my headset and
console works? Would a Turtle Beach headset work well with an adaptor? It worked for my Xbox 360.
