    XBOX One Headset Volume


    I have an Xbox 1s and have playing on it just fine. However, yesterday the volume suddenly stopped working with my headset. Ive tried a different headset, updating my controller, using a different controller, and checked my settings.

    The volume works through the TV and xbox party can pick up my voice, so my friends can hear me but I cant hear them.

    I cannot hear any game volume either.

    I just purchased the Turtle Beach XO Seven set which came with the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter. I have maxed out every volume option available and its still really quite. If i plug my headset into my phone or any other device the volume and sound quality
    is great. I don't even have to max out the volume on those. WTF Xbox? Give us more control over boosting headset volume when using the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter!!! Like Today

    From my experience with turtle beach headsets you will not see the volume sliders on the adapters or with the headset, if they have the volume controls on them. e.g. if the headset has volume and mic volume controls, you willnot see them available on
    the xbox.

    Have you tried turning down the headset volume in the volume mixer? My headphones use to cut out as well, turning the volume down solved the issue. If the headset only cuts out in one game, maybe try to turn down the volume in said game. If this doesn't work

    Is My Headset Adapter or Controller Broken?

    Go to the left (on the Xbox One menu) (when a sidebar shows up) and scroll to the bottom where it says "Settings".

    There should be a headset volume in there if you are connecting the headset to the controller and make sure the volume is on 100% (there won't be an actual percentage but a bar).
