    XBox One Headset Switching


    Hi All,

    I'm hoping that someone might be able to help me out with an answer to this one.

    I run my Xbox one in my main lounge area, i have a Turtle Beach Stealth 500 wireless headset connected to it.

    I run a laptop with Windows 10 on it and stream to it when the lounge isnt available, when i do this i have a second controller with that i use so i dont have to unplug my elite and re sync it later.

    Is there any way that i can leave my Stealth 500 connected to my console but be able to use my standard headset with my second controller on the laptop ?

    At the moment it seems the only way i can get this to work is to disconnect the Stealth 500 amp from the Xbox.

    To make sure, does the headset work after a fresh power cycle? If you haven't tried that before switching headsets, hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds, unplug your Turtle Beach, and then plug in your new headset. If you've already tried this, have
    you possibly tested a different controller with your Xbox Headset?

    Will the microphone on my Turtle Beach P12 headset work on an Xbox One?

    I've had a PS4 for the past few years, but I am switching to Xbox One. I have a Turtle Beach Earforce P12 headset, which is really only made for the PS4, but it has a 3.5mm jack on it. I understand that the audio will work if you plug it into an Xbox One
    controller, but will the microphone work as well? Need to know if I need to buy a new headset or not for parties.

    Thanks Jeremy the controller is a genuine xbox one with 2 ports underneath, one for the headset & one that looks like a hdmi slot. The headset is set to Windows sonic & the using hdmi or optical audio headset is switched off.

    Unfortunately with the current Skype 1.0 for Xbox One you can't switch audio devices to use your Xbox Headset for Skype calls.

    Turtle Beach XP500 Help Please

    3x optical cables, optical splitter or switch. One cable form ps3 to splitter/switch, one cable from 360 to splitter/switch and one cable from splitter/switch to headset reciever.



    The blue tooth on the headset should have a button for switching which blue tooth device your paired to (e.g ps3 and mobile or ps3 and 360 blue tooth dongle). Press that for which console your using.



    I have the px5's which is the same set up.

    Only a small selection of wireless headsets work with the Xbox One family of consoles. I believe SteelSeries have produced one which comes with a USB dongle that works with the Xbox One (and other platforms like Android devices, and the Nintendo Switch),
    LucidSound, Turtle Beach, and Astro also make wireless headsets that are compatible with the Xbox One family of consoles.
