    Xbox One Headset Problems.


    Hello everyone, I am having problems with my headset and I had problems before with it as well but anyways, what is going on is my headset can't pick up my voice when I talk but I can hear everyone else, raise the volume up and down and mute it but when
    I talk it doesn't pick up my voice could this be faulty wiring or something? and I do not have a kinect either I've had this problem before but thank you for reading this! all help will be welcomed!

    Will the Xbox One have diffrent headsets?

    You get the new headset with the Xbox one, so not problems!

    Xbox One S and Official Stereo Headset Adapter not recognized

    Hi Zathrus,

    We have two of the
    Xbox Stereo Headset     with Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter, and both sets have worked well with no problems for sometime now. And I have used the
    adapter with non-Microsoft headset with no issues. So, given that you say your "3.5 mm cabled headset " works directly connected to the controller, then I regret to say it would seem that the fault lies with the adapter itself and may need to be replace.

    Hey there Michael,

    Sorry to hear that your son is running into problems with the headset. Is he attempting to use the same headset at both locations or is it different console, controller, and headset?

    If he is using the same controller or same headset at both places then it is possible that the device itself could be the problem.

    Take a look at the following support articles for helpful troubleshooting steps.

    Give it a try and let us know of any changes.

    Hey there MJ!

    Sorry to hear that you guys are experiencing difficulty.

    It could be a couple of things, depending on the brand of headset. Generally, the steps outlined in

    Xbox One Chat Headset troubleshooting     would help with resolving most headset problems, so I would try those out if you haven't already.

    Also, if it's some third party headset, it might help to get a Xbox One Headset Adapter, as it was designed to help with compatibility problems of any sort.

    Also, what type of headset is it? Do any other controllers work with the headset? Are other people able to hear or is it a problem with both hearing and speaking using the headset?

    Just bought a brand new titanfall edition controller and had the same problem. The controller refused to update with the xbox stereo headset hooked up. Looks like it's the headset/adapter that is the problem. I'm going to return the headset and try a different
    one.
