Xbox one headset problem

I can only hear my friends talking, but when I talk, my friends only can hear some weird noise

i have tried the sound test service on skype , I can only hear weird noise too

can anyone help me solve this problem?

Headset adapter issue.

Hiya,

I recently purchased the xbox stereo headset adapter so that I could use my turtle beach with the xbox one (its listed as being compatible as long as you have the adapter).

I updated my controller when I was prompted to so that I could use the adapter the problem is that when I plug my headset in it doesn't appear to be recognized as being able to be used for mic chat.

I can hear other peoples voices through my turtle beach but can't communicate back with it. The headset that came with my xbox one works fine using a similar adapter(the one attached) so not really sure what the problem is.

Any ideas/advice much appreciated as its quite annoying having to use the headset that came with the xbox (always preferred TB headsets).

feedback through the console will be the best way to make sure the team is aware that you are having an issue.

Also, it might be helpful to know when you say "...actual headsets designed to work with XB1", are you referring to the "Xbox One Stereo Headset" ? If so,
may I suggest you double check "Set up and troubleshoot your Xbox One Stereo Headset" .

Could you tell me what mic you are using and if the controller is wired or wireless? Ensure your controller has the latest firmware, if you need help with that go

Here. I would also perform a console
Power Cycle, with the headset unplugged.

If you are still having problems, come back with results!

Hey me and 3 more friends have the same problem, only works the audio of our headsets , the microphone does a extrange sound. the consoles just have a year of use. And the chat support said is only an isolated problem of my console, but my friends have
the same problem.

Could you try what I have suggested in the other comment above and see if any of those solutions help out. If not be sure to come back with results.
