    Xbox One headset mic not working


    Hi guys , today , i wake up and started call of duty , my friend invited me , and I realized that i was hearing him , but he could not hear me , i could not talk ! , do you know any solution for this problem , or the mic is just broken ?? Xbox One headset mic not working :(

    Have you updated your controller via the Dashboard? It could also be an Xbox Live/network issue check Xbox Live Status. Do you have Open NAT? I've never used my mic since I got Xbox 1 just use the Kinect. Or the mic could be faulty. I remember when I got
    the Xbox 360 Bluetooth wireless headset, had to shout into it for it to pick up my voice. One of my friends has broken his mic (on Xbox 360 not on Xbox 1) twice. I don't know how he did it but he wounded up getting a Kinect. Just hope he doesn't break that

    thank u for answering me , i think is the mic , because i had move the cable sometimes and it worked , definitely is broke Xbox One headset mic not working :( , i will have to use the kinect now xdddddd

    Yeah they aren't the best quality. MS will replace it but you have to send the broken one and pay shipping

    Xbox One Headset Adapter Problems

    I have a turtle beach px21 headset and purchased the xbox one headset adapter. The stereo sound is coming through really well, but the mic isn't working with it. Is this a known issue or is my headset mic not compatible with the xbox one?

    Sorry bout that, but yes, you can use the headsets without the mic...I thought you were talking bout the mic...but yeah all headsets that have the optical output will work with the xbox one. It's just that the mics won't work and I posted a link showing
    how to fix the mic...

    Stereo Headset Microphone Issue

    Update: A new headset I had ordered last week arrived, same issue, though it has separate mic/audio cables I have yet to get an adapter for, Audio cable worked, mic cable just made static while being plugged in/unplugged/twisted. Works flawlessly on my computer,
    audio works on xbox, but mic won't work. I do not have access to a newer controller, and neither of my headsets are official Xbox One stereo headsets.

    Thanks so much! As for the mic issue, one was my razer wireless headset which works great except for the mic, and because of that I bought brand new xbox wired headset and still no mic. Weird cause it says mic is on, but I can't hear my voice, no one else
    can, and my recordings don't have my voice either. Was going to buy a third headset but I wonder if it's the xbox itself. thanks anyhow
