XBOX ONE Headset Mic- Noone can hear me, I can hear them.

Every since the Destiny update, I can only talk to people via the Kinect. I have tried buying a new controller, buying a new headset, updating everything. I have even wiped my Xbox as MS told me to do and it still doesn't work. I have the day one edition
xbox so it just ran out of warranty (my luck of course). I dont understand after everything I have tried to do how it still will not work. I have spent hours on the phone with MS and no one knows. I am currently using a BRAND NEW out of the box controller
and headset, after wiping my xbox and it still isn't working. Pretty annoying.

The Division Mic Issue

I have the Xbox one stereo headset. And in party chat, people can hear me and I can hear them. But in game, other people cannot hear me, but I can hear them (both group chat and proximity chat). Both VoIP and mic are
turned on.

I can't hear other people but they can hear me

So I am using the headset adapter for Xbox one with a pair of earbuds with a mic on the cord. I can talk and people can hear me, but I cant hear them. I cant even hear the chatter of COD. Any fixes?

Make shure your NAT is open.

make shure that you don^t mute yourself...

check the Privacy and Safty Settings, you can set who you^ll allow to hear you..

Do a Hard Reboot (Hold PowerButton on xbox for ~10 seconds after powerupply turn orange unplug for 60sec.)

make shure you not muted yourself in Party

I purchased an xbox one and a turtle beach x70 headset a few weeks back. I have been playing call of duty modern warfare. When i play in a party my friends can hear me talk and I can hear them. When we switch the party chat to game chat my mic
doesnt work. I can still hear my friends but noone can hear me. It is the same if i am just playing in a regular game noone can hear me but I can hear everyone else. I have trouble shooted it to the best of my ability and nothing has fixed it yet. I have restarted
my console, gone through all the settings and cant seem to fix it. Please help! My mic definitely isnt muted.

yea my headset actually does the samething but its wireless but try your settings

If you can’t hear the person you’re trying to chat with after joining their party, try these tips:

Check that your privacy settings allow communication with everyone. Press
the Xbox button to open the guide and select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox Live privacy. Select View details & customize > Communication & multiplayer, and then make your changes.
Unmute or unblock the person you’re trying to chat with. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Parties & chats. Select the party to expand the party roster, choose the
person you want to unmute, and select Unmute.
Check the party chat volume for each person in your party. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Parties & chats. Select the party to expand the party roster, choose the person you want to check, and then verify that their volume slider is at a level that you can hear. To change the volume level, move left or right using the D-pad or the left thumbstick to adjust the volume slider.
Check that you have joined party chat from within the party window.
See if you’re experiencing network latency or other network issues. To do this, check the detailed network statistics for your network by following the steps in: Network settings on Xbox One
See if you’re experiencing an issue related to Network Address Translation (NAT): Troubleshoot NAT multiplayer game issues

I tried this, and it didn't work at all. The problem has now shifted so that I can hear others, but noone can hear me. Again, this problem is with any combo of controllers and headsets, and only on my Xbox.

What type of headset and brand are you using for party chat on the console? Are you seeing any error messages when you try to chat? What type of troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
