    Xbox one Headset issues with New Experience update.


    Hi Guys

    I have noticed when playing games and using in game and party chat that the controller would start to buzz then cut the headset off.

    Then I had to start the controller again and re insert the stereo headset for it to work again. 10 to 15 min later it would bomb back out and make the controller un useable till I do a battery pull.

    I tried 3x different stereo headsets and they all do the same.

    Now 2x updates back it was fixed and now with the latest one I just got 3 days ago its broken again.

    Is anyone ells experiencing this as well? Will Microsoft bring out any firmware updates to solve this for the controller and headset as since the new experience started there has been no updates for them.

    Xbox One mic stopped working

    I'm randomly getting similar issues with my Titanfall Controller randomly shutting off after the controller update and I can hear sound out of my new Xbox stereo headset with the headset adapter but nobody can hear me until I restart my Xbox

    Can You Transfer An External Hard Drive Between Two Xbox One Systems Without Reformatting?

    Just curious, did your issues start after the New Xbox Experience update(what a joke, should have called the "Make Your System Buggy Update")? I have had video "stutter" issues since the update, and supposedly they will be fixed in Feb with the next big
    update, including Blu Ray issues.

    Do you have another Xbox One controller that you can test the headset out on? This is the easiest way to figure out if the issue is with your headset or the controller. Also, please make sure that the controller is

    fully updated    . Beyond that, what is the specific model of headset your son is using? Do note that we are unable help troubleshoot third party accessories so if you continue to experience issues with that headset on multiple controllers, you may want to
    reach out to the manufacturer for further assistance.

    Headset Microphone problems from latest NXOE update 1/23/16

    I'm having the same issue with the Xbox branded headset when plugged into the Chatpad. Happened after one of the updates. I can hear fine but no one can hear me.

    It's definitely some sort of issue with the update. I bought brand new controllers, Chatpad and mic to verify same issue with the new ones

    Are you on the 360 or Xbox One?

    If you are on the One make sure you have installed the updates for your controller, or your headset will not work correctly. Also, with the 360 is your headset fairly new? It could be an issue with your aux cable.

    I got an email from TB,

    "The Xbox One Update has to be applied to your Xbox One controller and console before your Turtle Beach headset will work properly. This update is supplied by Microsoft Corp., not by Turtle Beach.

    The headsets themselves do not have firmware to be updated. The update is for the Xbox One Controller and Adapter to allow chat and/or game audio to be sent from the controller.

    Your headset may get some sound from the Xbox One controller, even before you apply the update. However, the sound may be distorted or not work at all. To get the best experience from your Turtle Beach headset, you'll need to update the controller before
