Xbox One headset broken port

Discus and support Xbox One headset broken port in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; The actual headset port on my Xbox One controller is no longer working.     Xbox One headset broken port


    The actual headset port on my Xbox One controller is no longer working. I think it may have been pushed in or something when it fell. Any ideas on how to repair this or who might be able to repair it? I would just have Microsoft replace it but it's a custom
    controller so that's not happening

    Cannot hear voices through headset

    Just an FYI, My problem was a broken headset port on Day One Controller. Tried a friends controller works fine. Microsoft will not guarantee a Day One Controller replacement.. Nice Job MS.

    My mic jack on my hyperx headset broke of into my mic port on my controller and I can't get it out.

    Sorry to hear it. If the controller is a custom job then no one here will be able to assist as any discussions regarding modding hardware or software is allowed on the forums.

    The best we'll be able to offer is to purchase a new controller.

    but mine isn't custom and the USB port for the headset adapter is lodged in the controller so my adapter can't reach it. How do I fix this?

    In that case go to https://devicesupport.microsoft.com and select your console (if not already done so, register your console first). Then say you have trouble with an accessory for that console, choose the
    controller model, and provide the controller's serial number that you find in the battery compartment.

    Follow the steps through to get your controller sent in for repair.

    Hi there,

    it will depend on what actually is broken, is it just the headset port or something else that causes it not to work.

    If it's just the port then I do assume that using the adapter will result in being able to use headphones, assuming the headset is supported.

    I think you are wrong, with the headset adapter the jack of the headset is plugged into the adapter which use the expansion port on the controller to transmit the audio. The broken jack port on the controller will not be used anymore.
