Xbox one Headset adpater wire broken??

Discus and support Xbox one Headset adpater wire broken?? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My Xbox headset adapter wire is broken. ( the shorter of the two ).     My Xbox headset adapter wire is broken. ( the shorter of the two ). I there anyway of buying just the one wire somehow?

    I got the adapter from Amazon. I threw away the recient ticket like an idiot...

    Have you tried using a headset adpator? Depending on the model of the controller you still would need one and that might be the issue. Also plug in your controller to the xbox with the headset plugged in and make sure it is updated

    popping noise and cut off words in the headset, sounds like the same problem we have on military helicopters when a wire gets kinked or broken.

    have you tried moving around the wires itself while speaking? if the problem clears up when you move the wire then that indicates one of the wires is broken and the headset will have to be replaced.

    If nothing helps and your Xbox One Headset is broken, it should be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the Xbox Online Service Center:

    HI the headset works fine, tried another one, did the hard reset and still the same issue. The wireless controller will not detect the headset it remains assingned to the broken wired controller
